We liked the restaurants and the nightly shows. Liked the covered beach chairs. Only thing we didn’t like was the high pressure sales pitch for their vacation club directly after checking in.

Really enjoyed our stay. Preferred members is the way to go 200 percent. Our personal concierge (Ramses) was great. They make you feel special which everybody can appreciate every once in a while. See you soon. Food was great especially the buffet. Highly recommended for a getaway.

Eddy our butler was superb. Felix, the Batman at the preferred pool lounge was old school first class!

Our pool experience was great because of our pool waiter Lisnauri. He was great ! Eliezer or concierge was amazing and so helpful! The only negative was the men on the beach trying to get us to go to their shops, which we did but they would pester us every time we would go onto the beach .

We enjoyed our stay with Secrets Royal Beach. We’ve stayed with Secrets a few times, but this was the first at this property. The hotel is close to the airport. The beach was beautiful, but it is public and you may have people try to sell you things. The staff was very friendly. Our favorite staff member was El Sexy at the grill close to the beach. Always friendly and welcoming. The overall room was good, but could use some touchups on paint and repair. It was not my favorite Secrets resort. The property can be confusing to get around, and accessing options around the property required a QR code scan to find out times, dress codes, and amenities. The food was good, and staff at the restaurants very friendly. We did not find the preferred club worth the extra money, but if butler service is your thing, this might be a great option for you.

Had a wonderful four night stay with my hubby and friends. Service was good, shows were good, liquor options ok but resort was clean and beautiful! Plus we got a Bills win while we there. Go Bills! 🏈❤️💙

Unfortunately our stay was below average. The hotel itself was fine, but everything else was disappointing. The amenities are slim to none. There are no events going on during our stay and we actually felt it was a little boring due to lack of activities. We had no good meals during our stay for any meals at any of the 6 restaurants. The drinks also were a hit or miss. There were some inconsistencies with the staff with little things such as our bonuses for our stay, what time the shops opened, answering the phones, etc. One day, our room wasn’t cleaned at all. Just disappointing when you’re staying at a resort. I wouldn’t stay at this resort again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Must visit once

Loved our stay at Secrets Royal Beach! We went for a friend's 30th birthday and New Year's Eve. The resort put on an amazing NYE celebration!!!! It felt so special. The staff was incredible at every turn, so kind, friendly and eager to help! The beach and pool were both spectacular. One thing we learned after the first day is that everyone reserves their beach/pool chairs for the day by placing towels down first thing in the morning! Be sure to do so, they will fill up fast and you'll be left without a seat! Overall, we had a wonderful time. Thank you, Secrets Royal Beach!!!!!!
