Good hotel with nice amenities. The breakfast was good as was dinner. We forgot to empty our safe before check-out so we called and the front desk was so helpful. The only downside is that we needed a taxi each time we went to town as the hotel is about 4 miles away from town. Beautiful ride coming into town past the school and fields .

Paid for a premier king room but really only got extra carpet. Bathroom was average. Could not get service at 11h30 despite there being a night owl menu, couldn’t get hold of anyone. Breakfast was really poor , scrambled eggs swimming in water and the cook/ chef was actually unpleasant to deal with, which probably was the reflection of the food. It was okay, however for the price we paid it was poor.

Not much great to say about this place other than the parking was good and it’s convenient for Winchester. The lift was not working so we had to haul our heavy bags on the stairs. Basement room smelled stuffy/lacking any fresh air. Breakfast was meh. Room was like a premier inn std.

Clean room but parking is not free

The staff at this hotel make the experience. Both reception and bar and restaurant staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. We will be back next year when we visit goodwood festival of speed.

We had a lovely experience. The room was great and airy so the boys could play after a long journey. Dinner was great with a good menu catering for special dietary requirements and a good selection of drinks. Staff were helpful and friendly and the service was impeccable. We will return.

Bathtub and faucet did not drain properly and was even coming up with old dirty water when it wasn’t being used. Sauna room wasn’t working, which I was looking really forward too. Sauna pool was nice but was only allowed for a certain amount of time. Besides that overall good stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, but unfortunately, my stay didn't meet expectations. The primary reason I chose this hotel over others in town was the spa, and I was quite disappointed to find that it was inaccessible to hotel guests. It proved very difficult to book either online or in person throughout my entire visit. Given that the location is a bit further out from the city center, the inability to use the spa facilities significantly impacted the value of my stay. I hope the hotel improves its booking accessibility for future guests or the standard access should be included within the stay.

Great hotel. We had an evening meal there and the food was fantastic. Rhodri on reception could not have been more welcoming. Will stay there again.

Room was very clean on arrival, didn't need to ask for iron and ironing board as already in the room which was helpful. Having to pay extra for use of the pool was a surprise

All good. External bike storage was not sufficient so we were allowed to store bikes in rooms for £50 deposit.

The breakfast was very good for buffet with cooked options. It’s well located for Winchester but not a hotel with charming views and paying for parking on top of room charges needs looking at. Why not make it inclusive ? A fridge in the room and capsule coffee maker would be more useful than a safe.

This was our first visit of the property under the new name and branding. The redesigned foyer and common areas are appealing and well designed, our family room was clean and comfortable and nicely put together in terms of style. The restaurant area is less successful in terms of design and we would not rate the breakfast above average. However, five stars to the entire breakfast team (open kitchen included) for their warm hospitality.
