We stayed here for 1 night on our way back to the UK by ferry to Plymouth. The apartment has 1 separate bedroom with a double bed and 1 single sofa bed. In the living room there are 2 single beds. There is also a kitchen with a washing machining. There are 2 restaurants conveniently located below the apartment. We had 3 meals at Parrilla Gines. The beach at Sardinero is a stone throws away with a nice promenade. We enjoyed our stay here and would like to come back for a longer stay.

Very nice apart hotel excellent situation just across the beach. Several buses pass on front to take you to downtown. There is a cafe below where food and coffee are at very good prices

This apartment was delightful. Beautiful colours, great facilities, great service. Right next to the beautiful beach. I would happily stay here again. It felt like a home away from home! Thanks!

I know the area quiet well. I needed a quiet place, but ended up in the back room where you can hear everything from the side street. This hotel is advertised as APART-HOTEL, but nothing was listed about NO KITCHEN NO FRIDGE. This was very dissapointing, since that was the reason why I choose it. The lady at the front desk said.. "oh sorry, you should have called". Only items in room : running water and 2 little shower soap pastilles. Very heavy linen in bed . Overall great location, easy parking, but the rest... needs to be clear in the search engine.

Attractive French decor room, well decorated. Good position near beach. Initially room looked superb but bath and plug hole littered with hair, shower hose to short so need to hold with one hand, only 1 glass, king size bed was only double, unable to get into hotel (locked) although was within checking time frame. Small things add up to disappointing stay.

Would have enjoyed our stay more if we hadn't been put in a smoking room which they tried to pass off as a non-smoking room. Smell was very present and even sleeping with the windows open it was overpowering. Otherwise it is in a nice location and has an interesting old decor.

Stayed one night here in Santander. Great location - used local bikes to get around and was able to get to everything easily. Room was very nice- but no air conditioning. Room did have fan and with the cold air at night it was comfortable. Bathroom was very nice and small kitchen would be useful if you wanted to eat in. Wifi worked well and it was easy to park cars near hotel for free- on street parking. Only draw back is hotel only had concierge until 8 pm. Luckily when we stayed had many young student types staying for sailing competiton so we felt safe.

A great location. The hotel was comfortable enough but the decor is very tired. I realise it is meant to be Art Deco, but it is a very tired Art Deco.

Pros: An excellent location close to beach in town centre. Public car parking nearby. Cons: Room and facilities were not as described on Hotels.com site where I booked - Manager showed me a completely different website with about a quarter of the facilities listed on Hotels.com. I have improved the service rating I would have given, because after a half hour 'robust discussion' in Spanish, the Manager did eventually give me a kettle (which should have been provided according to Hotels.com). The major problem was that the door handle/lock to our room fell apart, almost locking in my husband - the Concierge had gone home by then so I was forced to dismantle and rebuild the mechanism. On informing the man on the desk at check-out, it became clear he already knew the lock was faulty. There was mould on some grouting around the bath - which was still sandy from the last occupant - and there was only enough hot water for a 1" deep bath! Also, for the first time ever in a Spanish hotel, I was charged extra for my pets, which made it a rather expensive stay for the facilities offered.
