Great hotel. Helpful and friendly staff and comfortable bed. Exactly what I needed. Let me store my bike in the store room too which was helpful.

The photos have now been changed but were not a good representation of the property. There was no bar area to purchase a cold drink after a long day. The hallways etc were dated. Unloading a car was difficult since all the parking at the front of the hotel is taken. Hotel parking is approx 1.5 blocks away. The room was nice and the balcony looks over the ferry docks. Very convenient to restaurants eyc

The team on the reception were very helpful. Great location for the port and easy to park outside on the street. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Close to the ferry port so convenient for a ferry. Could be noisy at the front but our room was at the side so ok in off season. Room was very dated but comfortable. Had a balcony which we didn’t use. Parking was at the rear. No food available on the premises, but several local cafes were within a couple of minutes walk. (Gregory’s was excellent for coffee, fresh orange juice, pastries and rolls etc.)

They were good about our late arrival. He was mostly helpful about getting a taxi from the port at after midnight.

Room was rather warm and the A/C was a bit tricky to use and get good results. The shower could do with a refurb.

The Astoria Hotel is perfectly located directly opposite the port—ideal if you need convenient access. Upon entry, the air-conditioned foyer felt cool and luxurious. The gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious, with strong air conditioning and large, well-appointed bathrooms. The hotel is situated right next to several restaurants and cafes, and there’s convenient parking available at the rear. I would definitely stay at the Astoria Hotel again and highly recommend it.

Directly across the street from the ferry terminal and only a short walk to the bus station made it a very convenient overnight stay for mt travels. The room was perfectly clean and the bed quite comfortable. Nice private balcony with table and chairs. Short walk to the pedestrian street with many inexpensive tavernas.

Great welcoming hotel. The manager was very friendly and gave some great tips on local restaurants. The bus from Ioannina dropped us off across the road at the ferry terminus which was very convenient. Excellent value and very central to everything. We had a lovely room overlooking the ferries which we could watch from our balcony. Would highly recommend

The gentleman who checked us in was very kind but we had to sit out on the sidewalk for an hour waiting for him to arrive so we could get inside the hotel. We arrived at 2 in the afternoon and he showed up at 3:00 pm. We’d spent hours in the car driving there so this wasn’t how we wanted to begin our stay. They upgraded us to a room facing the water. The 2nd floor smelled like the sewer had backed up and permeated the air. When we got into our room, we opened the windows to get some fresh air and eliminate the sewer smell. We had to leave it open overnight because of the smell. There was a good deal of traffic noise throughout the night so we didn’t get a good sleep. They also do not serve any breakfast here but the food is good next door.

Extremely friendly staff which made you feel welcomed. Plenty of car parking space at the rear of the property. Walkable distance to the ferry port.

Really close to the Ferry Port. Clean and comfortable. The man who checked us in was really friendly and helpful. Lots of places to eat close by. Large car park at rear of hotel.

Really great value, super friendly and helpful check in staff member. Only stayed one night because it was a pit stop but would recommend to anyone getting off the port to stay here.
