We liked our room, comfy bed, great bathroom, and the staff were amazing from the first welcome when we walked in the door, to helping us with any inquiries. The complementary breakfast is out of this world, and because we had to leave very early on our last morning, they offered us a boxed breakfast to take away. It was a bag of lovely things that pretty much lasted us all day! Thanks Scandi Grendel!!

I didn’t saw pancakes/waffles. The rest was perfect. Very walkable and centric for a great price.

Chosen for its proximity to the club I was going to. Friendly staff, warm room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Breakfast excellent. Only downside the state of the clean but needing renewing carpets.

We were a group of about 10 people staying at Scandic Grensen. Had a long great breakfast with friends in very nice surroundings. Rooms and service excellent. Absolutely the place to stay in the center of Oslo city. We will all be back in 2025.

A lovely hotel in a great location.

It`s a really practical location for a hotel in Oslo, great for visitting all the attractions in the city center and getting to public transport for other attractions. We were lucky and got a room on the top floor with a nice view, appreciated that

Property was great in all regards except: Shower was so small and hard to regulate Outside was loud

The breakfast was fantastic!!! The location was great-just a block off the the main pedestrian zone and between the train station and national museum. Room and bathroom were small, but nice and the bed was comfortable. Only negative was that the carpet in the room and hallways were pretty stained and could really be replaced.

Currently doing a hop-scotch trip (many countries for short periods of time) and this was just what I was looking for. Not too fancy and not too expensive. My only warning is the neighborhood is NOISY, so either bring earplugs or be prepared to constantly wake up due to drunk people shout-singing outside until at least 3 in the morning.

If you book the cheapest room be prepared to carry your luggage down a flight of stairs to your room. We used lift to floor 3 then had to cross a covered walkway to the newer part of the hotel and go down the stairs to access our room. Location is fine with a Bergen card as could access a bus or tram to go anywhere.

Good location but very noisy with drunks partying outside past 3 am . Must keep your window closed- hotel is well sound proofed. Killer breakfast included for us and well worth it- eggs made several different ways, salmon, smoked mackerel, wonderful bakery breads, fruits, pastry, etc etc. hotel could be cleaner but not terrible- was met with a pile of trash on the floor when we got off the elevator- I assumed from housekeeping but not a good welcome!

Room very nice and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to metro station and short walk to harbour.

Great location right in middle of town Breakfast also fantastic Downside was tiny room, we were room 611 and you could just about manoeuvre around the bed.
