Beautiful hotel in an even more beautiful environment

A beautiful hotel in wonderful surroundings. I’ve stayed here three times and it’s always so lovely. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the breakfast is delicious.

The location is great and the surroundings are beautiful. Staff is friendly and breakfast was excellent. But the hotel was quite underwhelming. Not the best beds, carpet unclean, towels had stains and holes, room not as quiet as expected, airco making noise, no fridge; it was all a bit worn down.

We thoroughly enjoyed our too short stay. Staff were very friendly, the food in the restaurant was very good. The room was spacious with big windows and a nice bathroom. The beds were comfortable although we would have preferred a double bed

Bed is not comfortable for couples because these are twin beds. Heating is not good and at the corners there are spiders. These pointa need to be improve but in general good hotel.

Lovely setting, gorgeous grounds, relaxed and welcoming, lots of family but quiet and calm.

Very suited for large groups

There are so many great aspects about the hotel; the location is very peaceful, the hotel is dog friendly, the staff are friendly, the breakfast layout is good, small things are done like jars with dog treats and sweets are set out. The one let down is the restaurant service it took one hour to serve a our mains dish (no starters), our two year old waited 20mins for soup from the childrens menu which was so hot it took 20minutes more to cool down enough for her to eat it. Outside of this it is a great place to stay.

For such a big resort, the facilities are too little. Swimming pool and sauna are too small to adjust so many guests. Just one restaurant is not enough and was already full before we checked in.

Friendly staff

Lovely forest setting. Nice view from our room. Shower was poor design. Restaurant flowers smelled so strongly it set off my asthma so we went to the bar for dinner. The bar room is fantastic.

For the size of the hotel the swimming pool is really small. 4 kids and is full. Service was not very good. They have a nice terrace but they didn't put the cushions on the furniture so it was uncomfortable to sit there for long time. The people at the bar didn't know how to make coctels and took long time to bring food. They didn't advertise that they are renovating the main restaurant and everything has been moved to a conference room were nobody didn't know how to get there. Breakfast time was caos! People queuing for long time in the buffet and there was not enough food, not plates the coffee machine was in another conference room without enough cups! Very disappointed for a 4 stars hotel.

A very nice hotel and pleasant enough to have spent the night here. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only small issues were that the bar closed a little too early in the evening of my stay and there really isn't anywhere else in the area to go for a nightcap as its quite a small town. My main issue was at breakfast due to the amount of flies buzzing around the open food. Never an appetising thing to witness.

Great hotel in a beautiful area. Pool for the kids. No aircon in the room was the only downside.

Beautiful setting, large room, good price. We were in the area visiting family and did not use any of the hotel’s facilities so can’t comment on them.

Brief time at the hotel, but it was very clean, nice, and comfortable. Only complaint is that the tub and toilet had a separate room but the shower did not leaving little privacy.
