Nice place for short relaxation. Tasty breakfast, all staff very friendly. Just do not follow Google to find the way to the hotel.

Actually my room was changed to Grand Hotel Portoroz, and this review is about it, but all lately including Neptun are same owner

Not enough parking space unfortunately. It was great to have everything available for bycicles.

Great hotel, friendly staff and excelent location.

The hotel itself is a very nice building and is very clean and well maintained. What is missing form many of these reviews, and the hotel site itself, is the fact that the Neptun does not have a reception desk, which means you need to do everything at the hotel next door. This includes entering the hotel after returning from dinner as the front door is locked. You walk up many steep stairs, and then have to walk down a very dark street to access the hotel. All access is by very steep stairs or streets, so this is not the place to stay if you find steep inclines difficult. The parking lot was completely full and difficult to find parking in. The key works part of the time, and when you discuss anything with the staff none of them seem to enjoy their job and I felt like my questions were annoying them. Only one lady was pleasant to deal with. Also note that the bar/lounge doesn't even open until 7pm. Getting through/from their pool area is like a mouse in a maze, and then you cannot get back through the doors from the other hotel to the Neptun. Definitely not a 4* experience.

We drove to the seaside for one night with our kids. They loved it as did we. Large childrens play room, access to two pool areas, decent breakfast... The hotel itself is a bit old but very well maintained. We asked at check-in if we can go for dinner at the hitel and they told us they might be full and that they won't know until the dinner stars. Either they have very poor booking planning or the lady at check-in didn't wonna bother with us. I think it's the later... We past by dinner area when returning from the pool and it looked empty. So book half-.board in advance in you plan to eat at the hotel;).

said, "4-star hotel", - not sure how they got 4 stars. very poor service, staff is rude and uniformative about their hotel and area around the hotel. A/c stopped working in the middle of the night, - no help there; had to open balcony, but it was very noisy; very little towel supplies and you HAVE to ask for pool towels (only in the morning if you run into cleaning staff); check-in was quick but nothing was explained; the room key was VERY hard to work; out of 4 outlets only 1 was working and nobody took care of it. WiFi was working poorly or not working at all. Don't book this hotel

Our stay at the Neptun hotel was very pleasant . We had a room with a fabulous view over the sea and harbour. The room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent but the dinner in our half-board was somewhat mediocre. The indoor-outdoor pool area, which is shared with the other "Wellness" hotels was very nice but due to a large number of stairs from the Neptun it is only suitable for fairly fit individuals. The same is true for access to the Neptune from the main streat in Portoroz. The hotel is in an excellent location and Portoroz is a beautiful town with only 3 km walk to the old town of Piran. We used GoOpti vans to get to and from the Trieste (Montfalcon) airport which worked very well (70-80 Euros each way). Thanks for a nice stay.

Perfect spa in the hotel.

Everything was fine, except for the extra bed which was a not-so-soft sofa (not a bed, but a sofa with no arms and back side) and the bath-robes that are placed in the room as if they are for the guests' convenience, but are for rent at an extra cost. I suppose the people going to the treatments find it convenient to have the robes to be rented directly in the room, but otherwise it's not elegant to turn the room into a shop by displaying products with price tags that are not to be touched if not needed. Seemed like a dishonest tactic. Next, you start wondering if you can use all the towels for free, or if you may use the chairs, or turn on all the lights for free. Maybe some of them are for rent. Also, we're not going there to read all the fliers and instructions materials in the room. This issue was an annoyance for me, but otherwise the hotel is Ok.

Our hotelroom was bright, really spacius and also the balcony was big. There were separate toilet and bathroom which was nice. We didn´t find information before coming that hotel has parkingplaces so we paid triple price for parking along the street.

Veldig fornøyd med hotellet. Rommet var stort og rent, god seng. Flotte basseng. Du må ha orientering sansen i orden da det er en del trapper og ganger for å komme seg til bassengene, frokost og resepsjonen.

Bien placé mais assez loin du village de Piran environ 3,5 km. Peu d’activités aux alentours mise à part se baigner et se faire bronzer. Peu d’animation le soir. L’hôtel dispose d’un bar qui n’est jamais ouvert. Toutefois il dispose d’un très beau complexe Spa. Nous avions notre chambre à côté du local des femmes de ménage alors nous avons eu un peu de bruit le matin et des chariots devant notre porte pendant tout le séjour. Le personnel est moyennement aimable.

Ottimi servizi, incluso le terme di Portoroz. Bellissima passeggiata che ti porta a Pirana….

Hotel close to public and private beach. Neptun part of a bigger hotel-compleks. It was not clear to us how to find the reception which is in one of the other hotels. The hotel has lots of activities (whock we did not use). It's easy (and cheap) to use public transport for visit in Piran where there are lots of restaurants. Conclusion: Good hotel with balcony view to the see/Marina. Close to swimming area in the see.

Nagyon jó elhelyzkedésű szálloda, ami igazából egy komplexum része. Kedves személyztet, jó wellness szolgáltatás, jó reggeli, kiváló panoráma. Egyedül a parkolás kicsit körülményes de ez mindenütt az a környéken.

Der Check - In war leider sehr umständlich. Wir mussten über 30 Minuten warten, bis uns jemand den Parkplatz geöffnet hat. Es wurden auch Parkgebühren für den Anreisetag verrechnet! Das Frühstück ist durchschnittlich und der Meerblick war leider auch nur sehr begrenzt.

Es war seht schön! Das Doppelbett hatte eine durchgehende Matratze und eine große Bettdecke für 2 Personen.
