One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. We stayed in one of the Suites which was fabulous. Staff were incredibly helpful and polite.

Gorgeous property with a palace, surrounding beautiful grounds and a huge lake. There are too many features to list. The highlight of the trip was the abundant wildlife in the property grounds. We saw peacocks, owlets, gray langurs and many others. We stayed at the retail suite in the palace and it was a wonderful experience. The staff and management are all very friendly and all do them without exception went out of their way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and memorable. A member of our party had a bunch of dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate us at every meal. The rooms are spacious with modern bathrooms. You get the old world palace feel with modern amenities. Another highlight was the dining experience, outdoors with fire and kababs served on cast iron serve ware. We enjoyed this so much we dined there every night during our 4 night stay. The grounds are so vast that we didn’t cover all of it. They even have a step well and stables on the grounds. Highly recommend staying here. I’d love to go back some day.

The property is beautiful and an attraction in itself. It is quite far from the inner city which we didn’t mind as you can use uber. The hotel offers cab services but the prices are exorbitant. The checkout was a bad experience however, as they seem to be rushing us for checkout even though we were within the checkout time. That seemed a little terrible. So while the checkout experience was bad overall the property was beautiful and well worth a stay although next time I would stay longer as 1 night is not enough to truly experience the property.

A great jewel in Jodhpur that affords an affordable Heritage experience. The property is a former summer palace for Jodhpur Royalty. The suites are in the Lake Palace itself but we stayed in the more affordable 2 person rooms that apparently quartered soldiers in the past. These smaller bedrooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable. They are all on the ground floor and there is nature right outside - so expect a few bugs and ants. And Langurs hanging out on the outside. As a green haven in the midst of chaotic and honestly dirty Jodhpur this has to be expected. There are horse stables and foals on the vast grounds besides multiple animals including peacocks, langurs, herons, big big bats, we even saw a wild boar streak through the facility! Our children enjoyed the horse ride which cost Rs 1000 for 20 minutes. The place has so much undocumented history! There an old Shiva temple and step well besides numerous abandoned monuments that could tell a lot of stories if they could speak. The staff are courteous and the restaurant serves an eclectic menu although their Dal Makhani is famous throughout Jodhpur. If you love nature there is no better place to stay in Jodhpur.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel . I would recommend staying in one of the regal suites if you can. They are HUGE , beautifully furnished and overlook the lake . The grounds of this hotel are stunning . Unfortunately the restaurant and bar in the main building are only open when that part of the complex is full so we ate out in the garden which was still lovely. Though it was freezing cold , the fire pits close to the tables were a nice romantic touch and kept us warm. A great couple of days

The setting of the hotel is exceptional, despite having seen the photos posted, it far exceeded our expectation. The room was a good size, with a good bathroom, it's a heritage hotel, but well maintained with masses of character. The only slight complaint is that the mattresses were very "firm"! Fabulous walks through the grounds with all sorts of birds, including peacocks, plus a lot of black face monkeys and huge bats. There's also a large, impressive swimming pool. Dinner on the lawn in the outside restaurant is a must, the food is delicious and the service excellent. Please bear in mind it's not in the centre (but not very far out), you will need a taxi to get there.

It was simply superb. It borders a lake and the views from the palace balcony of the lake and the surrounding hills are magnificent. By now we have stayed in quite a few palaces in rajasthan - the views and the annexing grounds of this one are the best. The palace grounds are vast, there are only 30 or so rooms in total, so there's a feeling of having the grounds all to yourself. Going from a city, the peace and tranquility this offered us was priceless. The restaurant has limited menu but all of the items we had were very tasty and very reasonably priced. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. There are horses that guests can use for a fee to take a ride around the grounds. There is a buggy to go around as well as cycles that are available for free. Overall- an amazing trip

Were a mid 20s couple... This stay was amazing! When our tuk tuk driver pulled into the gated entrance I thought it must have been the wrong place! But it was huge I think over 60 acres. I really nice retreat from the bustle of the city. We had the best time exploring the grounds and getting up close with monkeys, peacocks and more. It was seriously magical. The service is outstanding too. We felt super pampered and the dinner outdoors at night by candle light was romantic, plus breakfast was excellent. The room has its own little backyard where you can wake up, sit and listen to the birds. One of the staff gave us a tour of the palace too, its amazing. Definitely recommend- if you can stay more than 1 night, do!

Beautiful grounds , a bit disappointed in that we expected to be in the palace, not the old stables and had to pay extra to eat at the palace. Rooms were nicely appointed if a bit tired and beds a bit hard but nice outside seating area. However the staff in the restaurant were great, the food was good but almost exclusively indian except for breakfast. Pool was very cold and only 4 sunbeds.

Beautifully manicured grounds, great for strolls, lakeside views are fantastic. During a morning stroll, you'll get to see monkeys, peacocks, polo horses (which you can ride for a fee), majestic banyan trees and many other native species. Rooms are charming. Unless you're splurging on a 'palace room' (which we had a peak at, essentially spacious apartments in the original haveli), you'll be in a room formed by the arches of the aqueduct that runs a long line through the property (and once used to be the water source to the city). These spaces used to be horse stables and are now hotel rooms, with rustic charm but well appointed. The food was great, particularly Kebab Korner, where we sat outdoors enjoying tandoori food while we warmed up next to an open fire. On a second trip, I would not mind coming back here and never leaving the premises!

Enjoyed the large beautiful grounds with trees, flowers and peacocks, always welcome in dusty Rajasthan / India. Palace Rooms (suites) are very spacious, though need modernization.

Good service and welcoming attitude. A bit away from the city which I think was nice. The outdoor dinner in the garden was also a plus. A bit outdated, but the charm of the place more than made up for that.
