The property itself was absolutely beautiful. Marianne welcomed us and did everything to ensure a comfortable staff. The room was well appointed and room service excellent. We thought the breakfast was disappointing mostly due to the service of a staff member who also checked is the next day whilst speaking on the phone the entire time. We highly recommend the hotel to Others and hope he will be thoughtful

The gentleman who checked us in and took care of us the entire stay was so friendly and helpful!! Our room was huge and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower had amazing pressure and the water was very hot (could be adjusted easily). The grounds are beautiful and nestled right in the middle of the town on a side street. It made it very convenient to move as bout the area in minutes. They also have a restaurant, bar, and an area with different fun games to play like chess and shut the box. They we kind and honest people. My daughter dropped 70 euros while retrieving our room key and they saw it and gathered it to return to her- they could not find us to they left it at the reception desk for us with a note. Then the next day, the gentleman checked that we received it. So amazing and touching! I will definitely stay there again if we ever get back to the Loire Valley.

Staff were lovely, breakfast terrific, and our room was very clean.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful! It was a school holiday, so Taxi’s were hard to get. We walked to the hotel from the Train Station across the river. When we discovered that the hotel restaurant was booked & we would have to walk to another one, the front desk clerk actually got his car & drove us there! We very much appreciated this. This hotel is within close walking distance of 2 castles & a beautiful shopping area. The food was excellent, the hotel very comfortable & the staff were more than welcoming.

Ideal Amboise hotel. Beautiful buildings, very clean, wonderful French “feel”. Simple walk to all Amboise offers.

Wonderful place!

This property exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful room and the staff were friendly and so helpful. My husband and I decided to eat dinner at the hotel and couldn’t have asked for a more magnificent meal. It was INCREDIBLE!!
