My only gripe is that the drink situation in the buffet area. You have to find a server to get you a Pepsi. They have drink machines but keep them covered. Why? The food is self-service.

bed rock hard woke up first morning with terrible back pain. Could be better softer mattress.

The Entertainment Crew was amazing and very entertaining and funny. Food was good. Massage was great. I expected more though out of a 5 star property. Out bathtub took forever to drain and filled with water quickly. The glass partition in the tub was not sealed at the bottom and water leaked everywhere and soaked the floor. The toilet was broken. Also, I have never stayed at any hotel or resort that did not provide an iron for guests to press their clothes. When you travel, everything gets wrinkled and requires pressing. They did not even have irons to borrow. They expected you to pay €4.50 to have housekeeping press each item for you and to make matters worse, you couldn’t get the items back until the next day. When I complained about it, the response from the woman at reception was that there’s nothing they could do for me. That’s the way Iberostar runs things. Not very accommodating and quite rude. Most of the staff were friendly including the Entertainment Crew, Bartenders, Housekeeper and restaurant staff. Most of the front desk staff were friendly but there were a couple of them that were unfriendly and sometimes rude. Also, there was nothing around this resort and taxis were very expensive to get anywhere. A car rental is definitely a must. I would not stay at this resort again but rather would stay right in Rethymno near the port and beaches.

We absolutely loved our holiday at this fabulous hotel. The service was impeccable. I particularly loved the pilates and yoga class first thing, the swim up bar and sundowners on the stunning terrace bar. Definitely hope to return! We came for a couples break without our children. The children's entertainment schedule looked good, and all the children were well behaved.

Four of us stayed at the Iberostar Creta Marine. My review is very positive. The rooms were nice and clean with a nice little patio with table and chairs. Our rate included breakfast and dinner. The buffets and service were very good. The pool and area by the ocean were very nice. We took advantage of the great location. We liked that it was very central. A little over an hour from HERAKLION airport. It was another hour from charming Chania. We would definitely recommend Iberostar Creta Marine to other travelers that wish to visit Crete.

Its nice hotel with nice staff. We had two rooms and both ok. Very nice buffet breakfast and dinner. BUt I could wish for a little more greek food at dinner time. Activation/entertainment staff was fantastic. Many funn games through the day and very funny shows at night. Nice for families. We would go back.

not good value for money, too far away from tourist shopping areas, isolated out on main highway with nowhere to go unless you have a rental car and drive far away to get to tavernas and stores, all inclusive food was very good though with great selection, however did not find the staff in hotel friendly at all

We stayed for 12 nights and found the hotel lovely and clean. Our room was spacious although no view as such. It was comfortable but beds very hard Staff very helpful. Nothing is too much for them. Food was excellent although restaurant very busy. Drinks expensive. Good pool. Recommend highly

My stay at Iberostar was stress free from the moment I arrived. The staff are phenomenal, always working and always freindly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing holiday on beautiful grounds, with attentive staff, and many optinons for things to do.

When we arrived we were offered an upgrade to a suite which was beautiful, we had two bedrooms and bathrooms, a living room and kitchen area with a fridge. We had a balcony across the living room and bedroom with fabulous sea views and were able to watch the most beautiful sunsets. You could also view the spectacular colours from the lounge bar and dining room. The food in the buffet restaurant was fantastic,a delicious selection which varied every mealtime, there were grills cooking fresh fish most evenings, absolutely couldn't fault the quality of the food. Also had a meal in the other two restaurants, both of these are set menu's so there is no choice, it was excellent food again but obviously not to every ones taste. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, without exception. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. We particularly enjoyed the swim-up pool bar. Spent lots of time at the 'beach', this was not actually a beach in both coves, they are man-made inlets from the sea, one is shallow and very warm but rocky and stoney, the other is deeper but does have sand. There is a charge for sun-beds on these two though. The first time I had encountered the germans (and russians) and the early morning sunbed situation but the hotel decided to make all sunbeds unavailable until 8.30am which helped a lot. The animation team were very pleasant and put on shows most evening which are really only suitable for children, apart from two nights the entertainment was not good.

This was a nice hotel in a complex of three linked hotels. The service and facitities were very good including a swim up bar. The all inclusive deal was good as it included everything, however the second and subsequent drinks were clearly less alcoholic therefore we tended to drink larger. There was a wide range of food, but the quality was a little disappointing. The overall impression was that this was just about a four star hotel which woud have benefitted from a litlle less tackiness when it came to blaring music around the main pool and the entertainment! We went in May and we needed to get to down to the pool early in order to get a sunlouger as there were not enough, even that early in the season.

Great place to stay. I would love to spend more time with these people in this hotel.

Perfect verzorgd op alle punten. Ruim aanbod aan eten op verschillende plaatsen. Eten is gevarieerd en vers, buffeten uitgebreid. Hotel personeel is super vriendelijk en attent. Heel verzorgde zwembaden en terrassen. Kamers zijn onberispelijk net als alle andere ruimten binnen het hotel. Heel rustige en top verzorgde omgeving binnen het domein, prachtig privé strand, … hier voelt de vakantieganger zich de koning te rijk. Top aanrader! Hier kom je zeker nog terug!

Sicuramente molto lontano da un vero 5 stelle nelle camere solo l’essenziale manca di tutto piscine che alle 18 vengono transennate e non puoi accedervi prima delle 10 di mattina teli da mare che possono essere cambiati fino alle 17 etc etc

Wie beschrieben aif der Homepage! Sehr schöne grosse hotelanlage! Sehr schöne strände! Essen alles was man sich wünscht, allerdings aufgrund der allinclusive möglichkeit leidet teils die qualität sehr stark! Auto ist vorraussetzung da schon längere distanzen zum flughafen aber auch in die nächste stadt es dauert

Verblijf 11 dagen. 2 Kamers/badkamer werd absoluut niet 4 ster waardig schoongemaakt op dweilen na. We zaten als laatste in de gang van 20 kamer. Er was 1 mevrouw die alle 20 kamers in 8 uur moest schoonmaken. Zie het meer als verkeerd beleid dat dit niet goed gebeurde. De werkster werkte superhard. De manager van het hotel liep vaak rond zonder werk mee te verzetten. Het personeel daarentegen werkte superhard maar geen dienbladen waardoor vele malen lopen.. duurde langer. Zoveel eten en zon uitgebreid buffet dat het eigenlijk beschamend was gelet op het dagelijkse overschot aan voedsel. Op zich allemaal lekker van smaak en de toetjes leken van een partisserie afkomstig. Geen informatie voor toeristen, moesten we zelf googelen. Enkel informatie via aanbod agent reisorganisatie. Verder schoon, net en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk hotel.
