The hotel met all our expectations. It is conveniently located within a few minutes walk from Ribeira Square. We booked two rooms and the hotel was able to give us rooms that were adjoining which was very convenient. Rooms were modern, quiet and clean.

Lovely hotel very centrally located a few minutes from Sao Bento train station. Excellent breakfast included. Staff very helpful.

Fantastic location. Breakfast was excellent, fresh lovely food. 1 star removed for the rooms - they were clean and well presented and have rituals body wash, however upon walking in, they feel substantially smaller to how they look in the photos. I would recommend and stay again, however will be more mindful to what I have booked.

Room was smaller than we had anticipated. Location was good and breakfast was good although the same all three mornings. We tried their Italian restaurant and the food was delicious.

The Staff here is Excellent, the lobby and restaurant are great. The rooms look good from a design standpoint but are very weak functionally. Sink doesn’t have any counter room, switches aren’t in right places, closets don’t provide any hanging spare, towel hooks don’t hold towels, etc. etc. shower and under sink has mold.

The hotel was very comfortable, very clean and calm. Loved the design and decor which is very calming and modern. The only reason I didn’t give an excellent was because the hot water in the shower, didn’t seem to work during peak times which is disappointing because apart from this its an excellent hotel with very friendly staff and amazing breakfast options. Loved the dinner options on the menu. I would most definitely like to go back if the hot water was guaranteed to work all the time.

The hotel was centrally located, making it easy to access the city's key attractions. Our stay was enjoyable, with a spacious room that was nicely decorated. The bed and pillows ensured a comfortable night's sleep. The front desk staff, including Kenny and Antonio, were attentive and knowledgeable about local attractions and activities. The breakfast service was exceptional, with a variety of options and outstanding service. The hotel also surprised us with a complimentary cake and champagne for my wife's birthday. The only drawback was the lack of parking at the hotel, and the nearby paid parking lot was inconvenient, expensive, and difficult to navigate.

PortoBay Teatro hotel is very well located for access to the many attractions Porto has to offer. Every member of staff deserves a 5* rating, for their friendliness, efficiency and helpfulness. The breakfast choice was excellent and the Il Basilico restaurant, offered lovely food at very reasonable prices. The only negative things I can say are 1) Our room was farly small with a distinct lack of storage space and 2) other than the very small, but nice bar, the foyer was the only space where you could sit and relax although, the bench style seating wasn't very comfortable. I think the hotel is better equipped for short stays rather than our visit, which was a week long. I would definitely return though, if I was taking a trip, to Porto, for a mini break.
