Beautiful rooms.

Excellent hotel location and service breakfast was very good so many varieties. If I come again to Norrkoping defense I will stay that hotel.

It's 10 minute walk from the Norrkoping Central Train station. Large gray former house. Built in 1897 and converted into a hotel in 1943. I had a single person room. So it was small. Just one window. No AC, small bathroom. Taking a shower results in the whole tile floor getting soaked. Breakfast is included and it's very good, eggs, bacon, toast, jams, rolls, sliced cold cut meats, cheese, some sliced fruit, cereal, juice, coffee and tea.

This is a gorgeous hotel with super friendly staff. It is very central and only a short stroll from the train station.

Detta hotell är helt fantastiskt. En lugn atmosfär med stans absolut trevligaste personal, det känns som att komma hem till en gammal paradvåning hos en avlägsen äldre släkting man tycker om.

Helt okej. Varken mer eller mindre. Centralt beläget hotell med stora rum. Servicen kunde varit bättre och rummen något mer uppdaterade.

Nice rooms with a old and comfy feeling. The staff was very helpful when arriving late.

The family room is like an apartment with a kitchen and two bedrooms with 3 single beds in each bedroom. Very nice an comfortable. The bathroom and separate toilet could need an update but fully functioning. As their own website states "Unique mansion atmosphere, in the middle of the city" my expectations were high. Unfortunately our room did not really reach up to my expectations. Our family room had a mix of furniture and didn't really feel like a unique mansion. We only needed to stay for one night and as it was spacious room, travelling with a 10 year old and a 14 year old, plus a dog, this was a great room!

Very pleasant, quaint hotel, clean, comfortable and quiet.

The Strand Hotel was lovely. It is in a great location overlooking the canal, and the room we stayed in was decorated beautifully and was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was varied and fresh. This is a wonderful place to stay for a couple.

We had a beautiful family suite with an old style woodfired stove, though not sure if it was in working order. Nice view from the windows, and good size bathroom. Unfortunately the beds were quite uncomfortable so sleep was hard to come by. Breakfast in the morning was very nice, however and the staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful.

The hotel had this old mansion feeling over it, since it was 5 us, 3 adults and 2 children, we had a family room which was very spacious, actually it was more like 2 connecting rooms. The staff had already put in an extra bed for us. The breakfast was great and the breakfast room so nicely made.The hotel was located in city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Location is perfect. Just a 5 min walk across the lovely gardens from the train station. Is a bit hard to get in at first if there's no-one on reception as its a security entrance. It was raining and I got soaked, but didn't mind. Everybody really friendly and my single bed reminded me of the Princess and the Pea story. Beautiful 4 poster single bed with extra mattress. Wasn't blown away by the breakfast, choice was limited and didn't taste too fresh. Would stay again in a heartbeat for that beautiful bed again

A lovely little hotel in the sleepy town of Norrköping. The hotel is on the second floor of an old traditional building but has a convenient lift. The entry system is a little challenging but once you get to grips with it its all good. Welcome by the hotel staff was really warm and very easy to check in. The rooms are eclectic and have loads of character, just like the town. If I had a criticism I would have to say that I was a little disappointed with breakfast. there was a very limited choice and the buffet certainly didn't flow - e.g. the cereal bowls were nowhere near the cereal but again once you got your bearings it was fine - just used to a little better. All in all a good spot and I would absolutely stay there again.

Helpful staff, lovely cosy and comfortable room. Felt very welcome with coffee biscuits and relaxing sitting area that was a pleasure to unwind in. Excellent breakfast

Small hotell with greate staff.

Stayed here for 4 nights. It is a nice place with its own style and identity. More like a traditional high class B & B. It is about a 5 minute direct walk from the station. The room was small but good. WiFi was good. The breakfast room is very nice with period pieces scattered around. The breakfast is continental with the options for some freshly cooked dishes on weekdays. At weekends those options, fried egg, bacon, sausage, meatballs are provided in the breakfast room. There are plenty if bars and restaurants within waking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
