It’s ok for one night if you are driving through.

Great location

Great location and facilities. Our room had 2 comfortable queen beds and was spacious. The staff were great and dealt with an issue with wet carpet under the window quickly. The kids enjoyed the pool and spa. Great selection of breakfast options in the onsite restaurant. We stayed during a very busy weekend so there wasn't always onsite parking but there was plenty of parking on the sidestreet and we felt safe walking in the area. If the weather had been better we would have made use of the bikes available for guest hire.

Room and staff were good. Parking was a let down as there was no where to park until after 9pm

Stayed here with family. Staff were lovely. Rooms were nice and clean. Buffet dinner was delicious.

Overall, it was a good experience even though the male receptionist looks unfamiliar during check in.

The Devon is a nice hotel with great amenities

Check in, was quick and easy. Hotel staff were amazing happy to assist considering it was a very busy hotel with a big function, staff never missed a beat and ensured every person staying there was made to feel important. Thank you.

Great hotel! Looks to have been refurbished recently, clean room, great facilities and excellent buffet dinner. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future! Great value for money

Great place to stay at New Plymouth... have already stayed here twice now and planning to stay here again when coming back to New Plymouth...

Super comfy beds! Loved the hot pool and spa!

Our last stay was a bit disappointing however they took our feedback on board and they certainly went out of their way this time and upgraded our room (lovely spacious room with seperate living and separate bedroom! Very impressed! Nice and quiet too! We are regulars at this hotel and restaurant and will definitely be staying here again for our regular meetings! Thanks

Very modern, clean, soft beds. Only complaint was that the shower water spilled into the bathroom with every shower. We had to use the bath mat as a dam.

Nice place to stay

This hotel was really good but the only thing that bothered me was that the spa pool was only warm. I was hoping to get hot in the spa pool and then be able to cool off in the swimming pool – no such luck. If you stayed in the spa pool for too long, you'd start to get cold. 4 of us were in the spa pool (night time) and we had the same experience.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at The Devon. My husband enjoys seafood very much. This is why we booked, stayed and ate at The Devon for our 55th Wedding anniversary. Thank you very much.
