Very helpful staff. The kids enjoyed onsite shopping and restaurants located in the same building. It was super helpful to have a supermarket in the same building for all the little things needed during a trip.

Ok property. Room was clean but beds were uncomfortable and small. Good shower. Staff were uninterested and not too welcoming. Parking was easy and convenient but expensive at 25 per night. Tena being right outside the hotel was great

Great location, facing the 3 Arena, with a stop for the Luas straight outside the front doors. Our room had, tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, fridge and tv! Bathroom was spacious with a bath/shower. The best bit of our stay was the amazing breakfast, with something for everyone, I’m gluten free and I was spoilt for choice!

Having always stayed in the Gibson anytime I stay in Dublin, I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of the hotel, simple things like dust on the furniture in the bedroom to scuff marks all along the corridors. I love this hotel but it’s starting to become a little unkept

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of and the last day of a 10-day trip to Ireland. The first time was without problems, it is a nice hotel. However our last day there was less than ideal. The 2 elevators that go from the underground parking to the hotel were both out of service (one wasn't working the first time either). This required us to carry heavy luggage up a set of stairs to another levels elevator that took us to the street in front of the hotel. My partner had recent knee surgery so this was a huge inconvenience. Also the air conditioning in our room the last night of our stay was not working. The room was at 30 deg C/86 F when we entered and only cooled to 27 C when we got back a few hours later. As the hotel was fully booked they were unable to move us to another room. The staff provided a couple of fans, but still not a comfortable temperature to sleep. They did give us a complimentary breakfast. Note that this hotel's lobby is on the 3rd floor of the building and has escalators from the ground floor, in addition to the 2 elevators. In light of the potential for elevator issues, be weary if you or someone you are traveling with has difficulty walking or is in a wheelchair. On the positive side... it is a clean hotel and the staff are very friendly. The lounge and restaurant area are very nice and the food and drinks were very good.

We checked in 2 hrs after proper check in time and they still didn’t have our room ready. Then they said they checked the room and all works well, gave us the keys and we find out the AC is not working. It was 30 C that day. They sent a technician to fix and after almost an hour they still couldn’t fix it, we asked for another room but we had to make a big deal to get one as the staff at the counter are not well trained and we went straight to someone that knew what they were doing. Also, although they say they are 4 stars, no one helped with the bags at the door, as a matter of fact, when we pulled up to the hotel and disembarked, the fellow at the door (bearded man) went to have a smoke and watched us from across the small street. We then found out that their elevators don’t work to get up to check in. No one told us where to park, where to go …nothing. Not sure why they think they are 4 stars. The best was when we as humans were checking in, they said we had already checked in and to show them our QR code that we should have received via an email. I told the agent that we didn’t check in as we were on the road for the last 5 hrs and we are now here in person with our passports, and to just check us in and give us the keys so we can rest before our appts that evening. If you are so advanced technically at check in why are you still asking people to sign a reg card?Disappointing stay overall. Your Clayton Hotel Cork is 10X better.

my bed was not made particularly well.I arrived back to the hotel having been to a show around 11 pm and went to for a night cap in the bar area and they had nothing to available. It made a problem when nothing was available,I did ask for a sandwich and was told order for room service. My cousin had come from Cork so all a little bit embarrassing. I would rate the hotel 3 star.

We’ve stayed here before, we love it. Staff are so friendly and rooms are great - so handy if you’re seeing a show at 3arena. Also so convenient with the Luas stop right outside, we used it to cut out the walk to O’Connell Street. Food is also lovely, we got room service and it came very quickly and was great food. Would definitely recommend!
