While the room did have air conditioning, it made enough noise to raise the hounds of hell, while the air produced was tho cooler than tepid and had the force of an asthmatic mouse with one lung blowing through the straw! Parking for the night cost just under £10

Hotel ideally situated just off the A12. But there is no road noise that disturbed our sleep. Room was nice and clean well stocked with tea and coffee, soap, shampoo, hairdryer and iron. Breakfast was very good and kept us topped up for most of the day. Although we didn't eat in the hotel, the menu had enough variety and was decently priced. Bar had a decent selection of alcoholic beverages, and not too badly priced. My only complaint would be that the towels in our room were a bit threadbare. Overall a nice stay and would use the hotel again if we are in the area.

It was supposed to be a family room we had one standard double bed one very small sofa bed like a single bed the room was very dusty. My wife didn’t stop sneezing all night. My son had to sleep in the bed with us. We didn’t have any room when I told staff there was an interesting helping us in

We stopped one night on route to pick up our new pup. The location was very convenient, property was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The aircon was an absolute blessing in the heatwave too!

When we arrived l found a plastic bottle, pen, 2 bits of a broken plastic toy and a tablet ( medication) under my bed. The hotel was very busy, understaffed and cash could not be used and there was only one card paying machine. When guests were booking in we had to wait for ages to get a drink at the bar. At breakfast the food ran out, no milk and waitress told us we should have sat somewhere else as the only free table that we took had not been cleared.When we queried things we were told that it was because the hotel was very busy. That should have been a good thing. Our group was 14 guests. When we vacated this morning the lift did not work. I am a very fit 75 year old but quite a challenge using the stairs with a suitcase.

Booked this last minute, hotel itself and room were great. The main gripe I had was how scandalous it is to charge almost £10 for parking per day on top of the room fee- it’s off a busy A road, it’s not in a town centre. Will make sure to read the fine print beforehand, wouldn’t book again on this basis.

The girl on reception who checked me in was great. What wasn’t great was people smoking at the entrance in full view of the no smoking signs. Cigarette butts everywhere.

The room I booked wasn’t the room allocated to me. Carpets in corridors are dirty and a trip hazard. Carpet in room was also filthy. This was the hottest day of the year so to be told the air con wasn’t functioning well and be given a fan wasn’t ideal. Staff great and breakfast excellent. Car parking of £10 per day puts me off returning amongst other things.

My room and sheets and towels were spotless, check in and out was very easy and it was lovely to have air con during the heatwave!

Good location but £8 to park overnight. Breakfast very good but a bit slow to replenish dishes, overall very good value.

Room could have been more clean, spider web around curtain doesn't look good anywhere. No complaints otherwise.

Easy to find off the A12 behind the petrol station with good (paid) parking. Check-in was easy and staff helpful, Very clean room, nice selection of firm or soft pillows, TV average size with a sofa to allow us to sit and watch before bed. Shower very good and nice Dove shampoo and wash. Air conditioning needed in the mini-heatwave but the room also had a small fan to help cool the room down and move some air around. Nice selection of hot and cold items for breakfast and also a good option for an evening meal without having to search the area (evening meals after 6pm).

Close proximity to the international centre but I wouldn't choose to stay here again. The breakfast was terrible. On top of that a member of staff assumed my family and another family who were sitting tables apart were related as we had the same skin colour. She had a confused look on her face until I explained that we were not together.

Great place to stay overnight on the way to our holiday destination, we re ommend it. We couldn't fault it, everything was superb.

Carpet in the hall way was all lifted and was a trip hazard. You have to pay for parking which you would expect in a city centre hotel but not one just off a dual carriageway. I was staying for work, no mobile network and the WiFi didn’t work so I couldn’t do any work.
