A good stay

Lovely hotel, but be aware of the noise from weddings if you have an early flight

You will be hard pressed to find any better anywhere

It was, on the whole, a satisfactory stay. I didn’t find the staff very helpful. The hotel is fairly standard, certainly not outstanding. The breakfast was poor. It would have been nice to have had individual service rather than the buffet style with rather large communal tables. The hotel has a nice outdoor area for having a drink, etc. but little in the way of shade.

Breakfast buffet was amazing which included alacarte breakfast. Bed was extremely comfortable. Very close to airport

Perfect place to stay when coming in to or leaving from Gatwick Airport.

Nice quiet place

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were very small but well laid out to maximise family use. Only issue was the room was not turned over and we ran out of bottled water and toilet roll.

Really nice staff, very helpful. Grounds are beautiful as is the surrounding countryside. Room was spacious and reasonably clean though it seemed they rushed the cleaning a bit. Restaurant served very good food and the servers were very good. However, they seemed short-staffed as the servers seemed rushed, never unfriendly or inattentive, just extremely busy. Be aware there is no AC so if the weather is warm, the rooms might feel stuffy (we stayed in August). We opened the windows and that helped. Place is quiet so noise was not an issue. Would stay there again.

Lovely manor house Hotel. It's foremost a wedding venue, conference type hotel so nice and peaceful in the week. Room was quiet, very comfy bed. Food in the restaurant was very good quality. I had the pork belly and it was delicious. Will stay here again for sure. Room was cheaper than a Premier Inn too.
