Perfect location, nice staff, very nice and clesn room.

The hotel is extremely conveniently located next to the main train station, which we required for an early connection to Paris. The hotel itself is not located in a particularly beautiful or interesting area, but we chose it for its transport links. You shouldn't expect a beautiful view from the window. Our room looked towards the inside of the hotel, so we just had a dark wall and the view of residents' windows. Nothing special. Again, we didn't care because we were not going to spend any time in the hotel, other than for sleeping. The room had poor ventilation. The vents in the bathroom didn't work, so there was mould and humidity in the room. These spaces would benefit from a proper vent. Given we travelled in winter, the only other choice would have been to leave all the windows open for cleaner air and no humidity, but we would have frozen. Don't expect a massive shower. The bathroom is a tiny but functional cubicle. Perfect for the purpose of our family trip, which was to walk every day then sleep for a short period of time. The staff at Reception were very helpful. Whilst the breakfast was overpriced (EUR13), it actually offered a lot of choice; fresh bread, unlimited drinks, fruit, and yogurts, and cheese & ham selection. It was worth it! We alerted the Reception about our 5.00 a.m. departure. Since we had already paid for breakfast, they offered to accommodate an earlier slot for us, so we could eat before we left. Kind and friendly staff. We would surely stay again!

We didn’t choose the breakfast option as we like to go out and explore but the place is great staff is fantastic

Excellent staff loved my stay

The staff were very friendly, and I had a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The elevator was very small, so I had to fold the stroller to fit inside, but other than that, I was satisfied.

Conveniently located, good value!

I had a smelly bathroom upon arrival, I'd just been at an apparthotel so fortunately I had cleaning wipes (compostable) and cleaned the entire thing head-to-toe But upon leaving noticed the bathroom was beginning to smell bizarrely again, despite the fact I'd kept the door open to air it out all night (with the windows open) So I believe there is some kind of ventilation problem perhaps. I *don't* believe this was the cleaner's fault, because the bed was very very clean, and the bathroom began smelling on it's own again during my stay, despite my cleaning and airing out constantly The staff were really charming, I was impressed with the young guy's English skills when speaking with guests I did wake up with some pretty horrid insect bites on my arms, but I've come to realise that at hotels this kinda stuff is pretty hard to avoid Other than that room was fine. The bed was nice and clean Just to warn people though - it feels a bit unsafe and scary walking to and from this hotel at night through the tunnel and back alleys that are required, although at daytime the locals all seemed chill and safe Highly recommend the Arabic sandwich store 2 minutes away by foot ("La Petite Table") - I got a few sandwiches and they were amazing (and incredibly cheap too). It goes without saying, make sure to be respectful to them, as well as their culture and beliefs there Probably wouldn't stay because of the bathroom and insect bites, but overall the hotel was acceptable (good staff)

Lovely staff, good location for station but nothing else much there, apart from the fab Brasserie Georges next door. Only suitable for an overnighter as room very small, no air conditioning and very noisy outside with window open. Breakfast a bit overpriced.

The staff were lovely and helpful throughout our stay. However the room was very small with a tiny bathroom. There was no space between the toilet and shower area. Also the room was hot despite there being a fan and having the window open.

Hotel was not in tne best location to see. Area around the hotel is dirty. The bathroom is very small no bigger than a touring caravan. No air conditioning and can be noisy at night. The staff are very friendly and polite. The hotel is clean

The bed was comfortable but due to no air conditioning and the heat being in the high 30c’s it was difficult to sleep. There is a good restaurant across the road.

The staff is excellent!! I met with 4 different front desk staff members, and all were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The hotel was listed as having air conditioning, which it absolutely does NOT! The standing fan was hardly helpful in 100F heat, but only central air would help with that heat. If you stay outside of the intense summer heat, it will be lovely.

The hotel is located close to the train and bus stations. Very convenient and walkable if you plan on flying into Lyon and taking either of these methods of transportation to venture elsewhere. The hotel is older, quaint, and could use some updating, but for the money, it would be hard to find a hotel so convenient to these launching off points.

The staff was all very helpful and friendly. My only issue was no A/C and it was hot thankfully the windows let in a lot of fresh air and they provide a fan.

Service was great. Loris and Salem made our stay memorable. This property has an amazed location in Lyon. Just the fact to be very close to the train, tram and metro station saves anyone time. Also, this property offers an amazing breakfast. We had a great time. The only thing that we even know with advance was that the property lacks of A/C which it is an inconvenient during heatwave in summer. Thankfully, it will be probably added in 2026.

Charming and full of character! Close to the train station and an incredible multilingual staff - everyone was very helpful.

Only one complaint but probably not hôtels fault, but they phoned a taxi for me for a ten minute ride to Part Dieu train station, thé driver charged me €25 which was expensive !!
