Convenient to everything i wanted on a vacation.

They upgrade me to an ocean view it was great

Nice facilities. Rooms are dated no real storage in the rooms. Could use a dresser in the room. The Hilton Grand Vacation complex is really nice. The shopping and dining options was very convenient. The restaurant at The Modern, “The Grove”, was open in the morning and only at the bar at night. You ate at tables poolside. Food options at the Grove was nothing to write home about. For an excellent cup of coffee, go to the Aroma Cafe, in the hotel next door. You will not be disappointed. Would recommend not renting a car if you can avoid it. Public transportation and Uber are readily available.

Comfortable bed

I liked the area and all facilities, but the building was smaller than the others.

The furniture in the rooms is way too low even for me and I’m only 5’ tall. Balcony chairs are very uncomfortable and the table was rusty. Elevators are slow. Not quality expected for a HGV club. Staff was very friendly, lobby was nice, and restaurant’s breakfast food quality was very good.

It was beautiful, and very convenient to different places in walking distance, and it was very quiet.

The hotel is in an excellent location where restaurants and beaches are near by. However one of the three elevators was broken down for the three days we stayed there. That makes waiting for the elevators takes a long time.

Loved it here! Beautiful pool area. Rooms were a lot more spacious than I thought they would be( there were 4 adults n one room). Clean and staff was amazing. The only thing missing was a laundry room

Would definitely recommend this hotel. It was really clean and comfortable, in a great location. We had a nice large balcony and a view of the harbour. The staff were very friendly and great in an emergency (we were there during the recent tsunami warning). As an added bonus, the main lobby smelt absolutely amazing! One thing I would change would be the adults only "pool" - it's just some sun loungers sitting in shallow water which I thought was a bit strange.

My stay at this hotel was amazing! The view from the balcony was beautiful. The walk to the beach was right off the ramp from the first floor it was great!!!

Our first night was a bit rough. My wife and I could not sleep because our room was 2 doors down from the elevator shaft. However, front desk moved us and the manager was nice to give us a comp for our inconvenience. We enjoyed the food at the bar near the pool. Tavia, as a server was absolutely fantastic! She was cheerful upbeat.. while my wife enjoyed the sunset. The Modern also offer free activities. Yes, I would recommend this stay because it is close to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Enjoy the Friday fireworks!!
