Stayed 1 night en-route to a Rugby Match. Quaint hotel with many original features, friendly staff and a nice ambience to the place. Close to National Trust property Chasleton so took the opportunity to visit there first.

It was great for a quick visit. We enjoyed the breakfast. The property details show it has laundry and laundry service; it does not. Also, we had no remote for out TV. We requested one and were told someone would bring it to our room. No one ever showed up. Paying for location, pricy for amenities.

Everything from the welcome to the quality of the room was perfect - A lovely way to celebrate my 60th and 3rd time staying there in this lovely Town

Great hotel conveniently located steps from the station. The breakfast is particularly good in my opinion and is served promptly. we were given a complimentary room upgrade as well which was very much appreciated.

Had a great couple of days.pillows were a little hard, could do with a choice. Would I go back yes, I would just take a pillow. Room was on the warm side.

Staff were very helpful. I was able to checkin early and they upgraded my room

We stayed with our dog in one of the superior double rooms with access to the courtyard. The room was spacious and well equipped and the big bed was very comfortable. We loved the snug with the roaring fire where we could have breakfast and dinner with our dog :) The staff were all amazing and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely return!

Brilliant service, great food, warm and welcoming staff. Rooms we clean and well presented with loads of luxury perks. I’d fully recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to the area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had the wheelchair access room. Very clean and spacious. Great huge firm bed! A little bit of noise one morning with food delivery.

We have had a lovely stay, with very helpful, pleasant staff and delicious food both breakfast and Dinner.

Hotel looked nice on arrival however, our room was not the best. Bathroom fan not working, missing grout, rusty shower curtain rail. The bed was uncomfortable with springs sticking in our backs!

The room was awesome, with our own library! Food was delish, staff were really lovely. Had such a nice time, would highly recommend

The hotel was very welcoming with historic charm. Breakfast was included everyday and the hotel staff did an outstanding job keeping our room clean.

This was our second stay in twelve months. Absolutely love this place. The staff are amazing, the food is great and the rooms brilliant. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.
