This was one of the most amazing stays, being in the forest is such a surreal experience - the sounds, the sweet smell of the forest, the resident cats! We visited in the first week of April and stayed in room Botanica 18, which had a hot tub on the balcony - this came in handy when the rain started. We also enjoyed the pool (which is open 9 am to 9 pm) - we went at 8 pm, and we had the whole pool area for ourselves, plus the water was the perfect temperature. The restaurant was also delicious, just don't forget to make a reservation! Throughout our stay all staff were so welcoming and friendly and spoke great English. I would definitely stay here again!

Shower floor needs a rubber mat. The floor is too slippery and the danger of falling is very real, and a expensive liability for the property.!!

Good jungle lodge feel. Must walk along pathways to units - we didn't have any rain so it worked great for us. The breakfast was good - many choices but nothing made to order. We enjoyed food poolside from the cafe there. The pool was nice but the bottom pool didn't appear very clean (whitish blobs floating in it) so we didn't use it - just the upper two waterfall pools. That also meant we didn't try the hot tub which was at the bottom also. Front desk will order taxi's for you. Uber doesn't work on the Argentina side of the falls.

Everything was just like the pictures. Very clean, staff was super nice and helpful. We arrived very late at night, and they made us feel like we made it home, and answered all of our questions. They helped us arrange transportation late at night and the driver became actually our driver for the 2 days we spent at Iguazú

The hotel was underwhelming at first because there was no sign from the main road and into the narrow driveway. In addition, the check-in desk is in the hotel’s restaurant, which is the main entrance to the property. But once we walked out of the restaurant and onto the pathway to our Botanica Junior suite and entered our room, we were instantly delighted. The room was spacious, clean and stylish in a natural way. The outdoor jacuzzi was just as advertised and it faced the jungle for privacy. We were also pleasantly surprised with our dinner at their restaurant El Nido. Everything was delicious, from the beef empanada, the ribeye steak, grilled surubi (catfish) and passionfruit mousse. They also have a wine room where you can select a bottle of wine. The breakfast buffet was fine but the selections didn’t change during the 2 days we were there.

We stayed here for 3 days (2 nights) and it was a perfect jungle oasis. We loved using the pool to refresh after visiting Iguazu each day, and an easy uber ride into town. The dinner at the lodge restaurant was spectacular! Would recommend to anyone staying in Iguazu

We stayed in room 10. We felt that the walk to the room was a bit long especially after a long day of walking to see the waterfalls. It was a beautiful hotel.

Spacious Room, excellent cleanliness, very authentic nature experience. Staff at reception were also very helpful when we had an unexpected cancellation of our flight due to a nationwide strike. They were understanding and accommodating during a very stressful time which helped me and my parents navigate our situation better. Thank-you again ❤️

Exceptional. The property is gorgeous, a bit quaint but works with the “being in the jungle feel”. From walking around at night, to getting up for breakfast, it was all very good. Staff are attentive, and answer questions via WhatsApp. We stayed at a 5 star hotel on the Brazil side but La Aldea was a better stay. Gracias!

You feel you are in the jungle as the huts/rooms are spread out within the property. Great place.

The staff are very nice and the service was good. I had laundry done within an hour and a repair done quickly. but the place is quite run down. The bathroom floods when you shower. I couldn’t use the fan because it sounded like an airplane taking off. The food was a bit strange. And it’s quite noisy with barking dogs and traffic on the road.

The room was very nice but the door was not opening easily and the phone was not working and they were not repaired during our stay, despite what was promised to us. The lack of flexibility regarding checkout time was all the more disappointing. But the hotel is very nice and the staff courteous
