Great spot

There was no breakfast that I was aware of. I booked to stay with a pet. Generally, rooms for pets are booked on the lowest levels, close to outdoor washroom areas (for obvious reasons) and to minimize contact with other guests; that has been my experience. Here, that was not the case. We were on the second floor at a room on the other side of the building from the closest access to stairs and with elevator in the middle (medical condition, I have to avoid elevators). With an 8 mony old, very excited puppy this woukd have been more of a challenge, had he not been trained so well AND therewere so few people in the hotel. This latter portion also giving rise to the question of why we were given a room so far away for stairs and outside access. One last point, the front counter reception was amazing when we checked in but in the early morning, there was no one arou d to speak to. Easy place to stay (perhaps not with a pet who needs to go outside), was comfortable and very clean. Shower water pressure was okay but o ly o e setting.

The room was a nice size and clean. Every staff member was wonderful. The only thing we would like to pass your way is that, even though each bed had 4 pillows, they all seemed to be hard on our necks when we laid down for the night. Maybe having different types of pillows...soft, medium, hard...would provide those wishing to stay at your Sandman Hotel and Suites in Calgary South with additional choices when it comes to comfort when trying to sleep.

Old property. Photos look decent but does not reflect what it’s like in person. Housekeeping could do a better job, did not take all garbage or replace used glasses until the 5th day (I stayed for 6 days). Beds and pillows aren’t comfy. Could use an upgraded coffee maker.

Staff were great, Location is great and 3 different restaurants at hotel , Rooms were clean but the bathroom was very poor , lots of water damage and mold growing on shore floor and walls

Breakfast was not provided to us. I don’t know if we were supposed to get a card or offering but nothing was provided.

Quick check in, excellent service, comfy bed and incredibly clean room.

All 6 pillows in my room were made of the recycled foam material. The pillows were tough and very thick. Blanket was very thin. The people I travelled with had normal soft pillows. The chair in my room had a large stain on it.

Old squeaky bed, carpets lifting and water damage all over the place. Way overpriced.

I didn't have breakfast during my lodging period. It was also be nice to add breakfast as part of the deal.

Great location - clean and quiet

Our stay was short but Nadia at the front desk was absolutely fantastic! Parking was easy and lots of spots available and we stopped in at the Tavern and had pizza and drinks - great restaurant to have on your property.

The breakfast was fruit, granola bars, coffee, tea, & water. Was good. Denny’s & Moxies are attached to the hotel so that is easy access too.
