Hotel was amazing very clean and modern in a wooded area with walks. My only disappointment is we were there only for 1 day

Excellent as always! The food was exceptional and extremely generous portions but also nice and healthy! The most dog friendly place I have ever stayed. It is actually more convenient than being at home with an absolutely beautiful mapped out walk by the lake on the doorstep. Staff are all really helpful and welcoming.

This is a really outstanding hotel. Well worth going out of your way to visit.

Hotel has large grounds to walk and pool and sauna areas were nice. However, the facility is not as expected. There was some sort of construction occurring in the main building and it was very loud and began early in the morning. We had booked two regular rooms and one of the premium rooms. The regular rooms were smaller than anticipated. The premium room had cobwebs, a couple of spiders, and a curtain to the balcony that didn’t fully close. Perhaps if we had booked rooms in the newer building we would not have had these issues. The premium room is definitely not worth the $200/night.

Lovely hotel with all the necessary amenities, very welcoming staff. A bit off the beaten track but worth it. Very good value.

This Hotel was imaculately clean, beautifully presented; service was exceptional, especially at reception, in the restaurant and at the spa. Having the pool and jacuzzi to myself was perfect.The only downside was that the location is a village called Petersfeld, not Garrel, which is the main town and the name of the surrounding area - this made locating the hotel a little difficult at the end of a hot and tiring day.

A great hotel situated with the added bonus of modern spa facilities. Friendly and helpful staff ensured all queries were handled quickly and effectively. The only downside/negative aspect was the lack of English menu at the restaurant - that may sound rather trivial, but it made ordering an absolute nightmare. The restaurant staff could not speak English either, so we really were ordering food completely blind.... a small detail, but one worth mentioning.

Eine schöne großzügige Hotelanlage mit einem wunderschönen Außennaturteich und perfekten Bedingungen für einen Rad - oder Wanderurlaub. Ansonsten gibt es doch einige Kritikpunkte / Schwachstellen. Unser Standard DZ im Haupthaus war älter und verschlissen. Im Bad Mängel, Fenster defekt ( hatten es die ganze Zeit dann geöffnet), kein Fliegen / Mückenschutz, Teppich alt und fleckig. Waren durch sehr lange Wartezeit beim Abendessen ( Burgergericht lies 70 Minuten auf sich warten) nur 1x im Hotel essen , die Folgetage immer fussläufig wo anders. Frühstück okay, aber ausbaufähig, jeden Morgen exakt das Selbe und alle Eiergerichte am Buffet trocken und schnittfest. Die Salzstreuer immer leer. Außenpoolbeteich sehr schön, Innenpool sehr kalt , gewärmter Whirlpool leider nur für 4 Personen ausgelegt. Personal immer freundlich und sehr bemüht, ebenso die Hausmeister.

Schönes Hotel, tolles Frühstück! Wunderschöne Gegend Essen war schlecht Und teuer! Check out schon um 11:00 Uhr! Late Checkout um 13:00 Uhr kostet 50 €!!! Das finde ich nicht richtig..

Geweldige kamer, zeer kindvriendelijk, heerlijke sauna

Ruhig gelegen, super nettes Personal. Sehr umfangreicher Wellnessbereich.

Wir waren für ein erholsames Wochenende im Hotel Heidegrund. Der Wellnessbereich ist wirklich ein Traum! Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Personal, egal in welchem Bereich war überragend! Immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und es fehlte an nichts. Es ärgerte uns ein wenig, dass man im Hotel die Wasserleitungen aus den Nachbarzimmern sehr laut hörte und die Mücken-/Fliegengitter angebracht, aber nicht dicht waren. Wir werden dennoch liebend gerne wiederkommen und können das Hotel sehr empfehlen.
