Upon arrival the whole building was in darkness with the front door locked. There was a notice to ring 3 different numbers. Me and my other half were stood for at least 5 minutes trying to get trough. When we did someone met us at the door, asked us to wait by the stairs while he went to get the keys. When he came back he informed us there was only us and 2 other rooms booked for the night we stayed. We eventually found our room and upon entry the room wasn't well kept but the bed was comfortable. We had no towels so had to go back down to request those. The walls had all sorts of splash marks and scuff marks, along with mould where the shower was. We had an awful sleep, the wind outside was constantly banging a sign and the wind was actually coming into the hallways and banging doors constantly. All night there were comings and goings from the section we were staying in. There was only 4 rooms so I dont understand why the 2 other guests couldn't have been in other areas of the hotel.

The room was filthy, bathroom was horrific..... there was blood stains on the matress, quilt and pillows, someone may have been murdered in the room and i wasn't about to be the next. Booked breakfast but i left before i was poisoned. There was a constant banging during the night from a door that was obviously ill fitting which kept me awake. Theres no parking next to the hotel. Avoid

Have stayed previously good service large rooms even pet friendly .walks along sea front for miles.
