diner was heel erg goed. Kamer was schoon tot je wat beter kijkt, achter de TV veel stof, toilet wordt even snel schoongemaakt maar ruikt niet fris. Veel geluid van de etage boven de kamer. De receptie was niet bereikbaar na 23:00 uur ook niet telefonisch zelfs niet als je aangeeft dat het Nood is! De tablet in de kamer funtioneerd niet, gaat wel aan maar de welkom toets werkt niet. Als je de TV aanzet staat er een naam van een eerdere bezoeker.

Prima hotel, casten op de hotelkamer is aanstaande: zeer zeker een pluspuntje

good location just near the national park. Note however that its a bit further away from the restaurants, and there is only nature around the hotel. we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant - food was excellent. The stay was comfortable, and everything worked smoothly, good breakfast. all staff we came in contact with were very accommodating.

The Pelikaan has friendly and helpfull personell. The food in the restaurant has a good quality and is very tastefully. A good combination of meat, fish and vegetables. The brownie desert is splendid. The breakfast is good however a limited selection. What they have is very tastefull. The hotel bar is a good place to spend some time after dinner. Local beers and drinks. Darts and billiard. We have stayed in the apartments building. The hotel looks quite nice but the apartmens building a bit outdated. The apartment itself was oke. Clean and wel stocked. The beds in the children's rooms (single) were quite narrow. My teenage girls had a hard time turning around. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Bikes available to get you round the Island

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was clean and a very good size. The bathroom was new, large with a shower and a bath tub.Good value for money! I will definitely return and stay again.

Fun in the Frisian Islands! Best of all, no American tourists!

A lovely place to stay in the Frisian Islands. Only negative thing was noise from a big tour bus full of seniors.

Quite a large hotel. Went for standard room which was on basement but still fine. Larger rooms upstairs. Dinner is only served early (latest 7pm)) but was of a good standard and quite reasonably priced. I think you should be given the opportunity to pay on check out rather than check in and there is also a 2.5% charge for using cards which should be taken into account, as well as city tax. Breakfast included, which is rare for Holland, and was good. Walk to beach was nearer 30 mins rather than the advertised 15 mins but you could just as easily hire a bike here. Short drive to beach and other parts of the island. This is a nice place, quite large and also has apartments to rent. Quite a homely atmosphere, with very good parking facilities. Recommend.

Es war ein schöner Kurzurlaub. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl. Bequeme Betten.

Gezellige locatie. Wat veel geluid uit bovenliggende kamer (houten vloer), verder een prima centraal gelegen hotel.

Prima hotel

Hygiene op de kamer was niet best. Met name de badkamer (wasbak, smerige deur, gebruikt glas) kon beter. Maar ook de zitting van de bank in de eetzaal mag een schoonmaak beurt hebben. Onze kamer zat blijkbaar boven de keuken waardoor vanaf 6.30 uur de kamer stonk naar uitgebakken spek. In de nacht veel mensen over het grindpad onder het raam. Personeel bij de receptie was wel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voor ons geen 2e keer daar.
