Check in was slow and a bit of a nightmare. Good stay otherwise.

This hotel couldn't be much more central, located at the Bear Pit roundabout joining Gloucester Rd. Be careful out and about in this area, Stokes Croft can be a bit druggy... Lovely restaurants nearby. Shame the underground car park isn't very secure and the local addicts use it to shoot up and collapse in.

Fantastic from check in to departure. Reception staff were really helpful and the superb breakfast was one of the best I have had in any hotel (the young man in charge was really attentive) Thank you

The bed was rock hard and the pillows were really small - almost half a pillow which was really strange

Nice room, good dood and shopping options.

This is the first time I’ve stayed there, but will be back. Located right to the centre of Bristol, across the road from the main shopping area, all things were in three minutes of the front door. We did walk to the train station, which was a little further accessible and safe on foot or by Taxi.

We booked for 4 nights and it was a terrible experience as the air conditioning was not working. We asked for them to repair or give an alternate room but all they gave was a discount on the tariff. Disappointed that in these day and age they are not able to resolve the issue for 4 days and not even offer an alternate room during the entire stay. Rest of the stay was ok and the staff esp at the restaurant were friendly and good

Don’t expect a refund from this company if you check out early and cancel one nights stay before the checkout deadline. Booked to stay in the Holiday inn Bristol city centre for 3 nights with my wife as it was very close to Bristol royal infirmary hospital. My wife checked us out on the morning after the second nights stay before 11am checkout deadline, and was told that the 3rd nights stay would not be refunded. She explained that I had been in the hospital for a heart valve replacement and this had failed so we would not need to stay for the 3rd night. Holiday inn said they could not refund the money as it had been purchased through hotels.com. And hotels.com said it couldn’t refund the money as it was against Holiday inns policy. All I know is that I now have to have open heart surgery in a few months time and one of these disgusting company’s is keeping £158 of my money. Won’t be using again.

Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and staff very accommodating. Bianca on reception sorted out a problem that we had with the bath, amazing staff and hotel. Was so close to Cabot Circus. Will definitely stay there again.
