A wonderful, welcoming stay in a dream-like setting! They were so hospitable to a solo-traveling woman and I felt completely comfortable the whole time. If you are hesitant to travel to the Maldives by yourself, Mihiri is the place for you!!! 5 stars

I agonised over which island in the Maldives I should book. After researching forever I chose Mirihi. It was the perfect choice! My wife and I loved our week there because its a small island with few villas and the staff make you feel like you are part of their family. The island is traditional Maldivian and not over developed or corporatised. The house reef kept us entertained for hours viewing sharks, rays (even a manta ray), dolphins and any number of reef fish. The whale shark and diving trips were well run and intimate with only 5 people on our boat each time! Finally, the food! Oh wow the food is just magnificent and plentiful. Thank you Mirihi for the holiday of a lifetime. We will be back as soon as we can!!

If there is a place heaven on earth, it must be Mirihi Island.. Our 12 nights stay was absolutely perfect. The villa, the food, the service, courtesy and friendliness of the staff, arrival and departure experience, housekeeping, excursions were spot on... It was our 2nd stay and we hope to see Mirihi 3rd time...

Resort was outstanding. Everything was top of the line. Island was beautiful with white sand and water was every shade of blue imaginable with great visibility. Food was excellent, staff was friendly and the rooms are spotless. Although the reef was mostly dead as it is most places in the Maldives and the world, it is showing signs of recovering. Having said all of that the snorkeling was great, saw sharks, turtles, and thousands of fish of all sizes. There are resorts that are more expensive in the Maldives but i cant imagine they would be any better than Mirihi. If Mirihi is of your list book it, you wont be disappointed.

This small, intimate island resort is an excellent place to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Start with yoga in the morning, some breakfast at the buffet, then snorkeling or swimming or diving, maybe some coffee, then meditation or a massage, followed by wonderful a dinner buffet that is different every night. Sleep on the deck over the waves at your water villa. Repeat the next day. What a way to spend your time.

It was magical the first day and then it got really quiet and dull. The food was extremely overpriced and not many restaurant choices. The resort was empty and with out life, like a ghost town that once upon a time was busy and hosted many guests but not anymore.

This was our first visit to Maldives. The stay at Mirhi Island Resort exceeded our expectations on all levels. The staff team & service was outstanding. We visited during the time of the State of Emergency and decided to change our arrival plans at the last minute. The hotel arranged for a team of staff to meet us at the airport, accompanying us throughout the domestic transfer and boat to the resort arriving around 1:30am. They were also thoughtful to provide food in our room upon arrival - totally unexpected. For an unforgettable experience, sign up for the sunset sailing with champagne and dolphins.

Probably the most beuatiful beach place in which I stay in my life. The island is absolutely wonderful and the hotel is a luxury one in the real sense of the word. All employes, starting from the General Manager, are really kind an the service level is at the top. The two restaurants serve really high cousine, great thematic dining buffets.

Nice and clean hotel, nice snorkeling and good diving. Lowlight is basically that prices for food are too expensive, not proporcional to the quality received. Additionally it does not provide free snorkeling guided activities even at the house reef, which is available in many other resorts. The snorkeling activities offered in October take a considerable boat time and are expensive. Find the quality of the food average. As highlights, the sandy beach and the privacy in the water villas.

Spent our honeymoon also celebrated my birthday on this beautiful island. From the moment the flight landed on Male airport, we were so impressed with the details of a holiday resort could possibly provide. They made us feel special from everyone in the Mirihi team- management to room attendant, and they truly created an experience what will last in our memory lifetime long. Thank you Mirihi Island!

My first time to write a hotel review. Couldn't resist. Been to Maldives four times and this hotel is the best so far. The staff is great and willing to accommodate any need. They know when to be there for you and when to leave you on our own. The property and surrounding water is breathtaking. Island is small and sometimes you feel like you're the only people there. They surprisingly arranged a free tour of Male city as we had a few hours to wait for our departing flight. Would highly this hotel to anyone.

This was our first time in Mirihi, and we were extremely impressed by the professional staff whose only care seemed to be our comfort and happiness during our stay. The surroundings are picture-perfect: turquoise seas, white, soft sands, beautiful, spotless island, and stunning villas. The whole place is designed to be walked on barefoot. I was surprised by the sandy floor in the reception, restaurant and bar. How wonderful! Günther, the manager, as well as other staff members, make it a point to welcome you personally as you arrive off the seaplane (or off the boat from an excursion). The villas feature all the amenities possible, including a plug/voltage converter. This attention to details is reflected in the cleanliness of the villas: they are made over twice a day, once in the morning, a second time for the turndown in the evening, when chocolates are provided along with a nice little card. The buffets are fantastic. In the evening, one of the two chefs will guide you through the thematic dishes of the day, proudly and passionately explaining the different dishes and answering any question that guests might have. Speaking of guests, we are truly treated as guests, as Günther, Silvia, Svend or Anica will regularly come and chat with you to see how your day was, just as hosts will do. The house reef is stunning, and within reach just a few meters off the beach. Dive master Chris and his colleague Philipp are passionate about diving. We attended a movie/presentation on t

It our first time in the Maldives and we are so glad that we chose Mirihi Island resort. We know exactly what we are looking for and the Resort provides exactly what we want. It is a small island and very quiet. We were on a breakfast and dinner meal plan. Foods were delicious and plenty. Without having to take a trip out to see marine life, there are enough around the island within walking, snorkeling, swimming distance to see them.

Full house and it never felt that way! The units are spaced nicely apart and provide a good deal of privacy. We stayed in the over water villa and LOVED it. From there we could climb right into our own aquarium from our back porch. Yes, the snorkeling is that good!
