We love it here. The local area and surrounds are stunning. The hotel and grounds are lovely, the rooms have comfy beds and pillows. The staff are very warm, friendly and efficient and the food onsite, very delicious. Thank you for another wonderful stay.

Lovely spa stay. Rooms clean and well kept. 2 restaurants, both a bit pricy for the quality of the food. Food was good, but not so good I'd be back for the food alone at that price. Spa treatments were excellent, but again definitely on the higher side. If you don't book directly with the hotel they add an extra £45 per person to use the spa for 2 hours!! It is a great place, but unfortunately I feel like they're trying to claim back the money they have invested into the hotel too hard and too quickly. It's a bit obvious with the high price points and extra charges which makes it all a little less appealing for me to return. Also if i'm paying £18 for a cocktail, I don't expect the bartender to tell me he has never made a margarita before!

upgraded to a suite beach house sandsend excellent thank you.the brasserie food we thought was overpriced for instance we had chicken kyffs compared to a meal deal from m and s at £15 for the same meal which also included veg and a sweet.the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Amazing overnight stay here. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and professional. Food at dinner and breakfast were delicious. Our waiter, Cai, was outstanding. Beautiful grounds. We were sorry not to have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

The room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly . Breakfast was good but the evening meals ( both pizza and the main restaurant were disappointing and a bit expensive for what we got ) . Also the water temperature for the bath in our room was not hot enough - the shower was OK but not for a bath .

We had a two-night stay in the beach house. While the room itself was acceptable, on closer inspection the bathroom did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned. In general, the attention to cleanliness in the main areas of the hotel also seemed lacking. During our stay, we experienced a few maintenance issues. The hot tap in the outdoor bath leaked when in use, and in the room both the TV and lamps flickered intermittently. Although breakfast was included, I was disappointed to learn it was served at the main hotel, approximately a four-minute walk away. Unfortunately, we had to make this walk in the rain, and were only offered a buggy ride on the return journey. Finally, I feel that guests paying to stay at the hotel should have access to the spa facilities included, rather than being charged an additional £45 per person.

The hotel is gorgeous! Our room was perfect, lots of space and mostly very clean. The only bit that wasn’t was the balcony so when we stepped onto that, as it was a beautiful Easter weekend we then put the dirt onto the carpet. Sunday lunch was lovely, the room we had it in was dog friendly and they were lovely to our boys (spaniel and GSD). We then went for a walk and a drink. I do wish we were allowed to take the dogs into the lounge or they had another area as we spent all our time in the orangery which was lovely but mixing it up and seeing more of the hotel would have been nice. We came across a few issues over the weekend. One was they hadn’t told us the lunch menu and dinner menu were exactly the same and as we didn’t fancy have 2 roast dinners we needed up at the pizzeria which was very disappointing. The food was not cooked properly, it was cold and the service wasn’t great. All in all we had an amazing trip and will be returning but will probably eat outside of the hotel next time

Everything was fantastic!! Beautiful property set in gorgeous gardens a stones throw from the beach. Food was top notch and staff were very attentive and friendly. Rooms spotless! Will definitely be back soon.

Lovely stay at the Saltmoore. Food was great, breakfast was excellent. However didn't think the Spa was up to much. Quite small compared to similar I've been in. The staff were what made this place. Very friendly. The rooms were very clean and had a good standard.

Breakfast was a highlight. Unfortunate there was still substantial construction. Sunday menus disappointing . Staff excellent who resolved a hiccup quickly and courteosly. Rooms comfortable.

Reception team were excellent. We felt well looked after on arrival and our dog was welcomed too.

Our room was absolutely beautiful, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The spa facilities were very relaxing and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Beautiful hotel, our second visit in 5 weeks

Check in was good, the receptionist lady was absolutely brilliant. Had a Waters edge room, thought the layout wasn’t very good. Very dark and dingy room. Breakfast was fantastic, the staff and food were really good.
