It was dated and had a smell. There wasn’t much for lighting other than lamps. The bed was comfortable

The room was comfortable and clean. The property was close to restaurants and university so quite accessible.

Front desk very polite and staff nice people! That’s not the issue! Bathroom and room needs to be completely given a facelift! Rusted shower rod! Bed mattress just old. Probably hasn’t been changed in years! Tv needs to be updated! Again just old and tired! One of our rooms smelled like it used to be a smoking room in the past! Again great staff! Not their fault!

Room was very dark but didn’t impact our very short stay. The breakfast provision was excellent. Very good value.

Charming hotel, comfortable beds, and clean. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Good location for walking down the main drag. It was quiet.

Nice location, clean

We walked in our room and found the desk lamp didn’t work. The bathroom was smaller than most in the price range. There were full wastebaskets in the lobby - cans, papers, etc. - that were left un-emptied for several hours in the morning. The breakfast was good and our server was efficient. Overall the hotel is looking rather rundown compared to its appearance when we’ve stayed there over the last 15 years.

The staff person at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind. He gave us all the information we needed for our stay. There is a free hit breakfast in the restaurant which was very good. The bed was comfy, and the AC worked well. The location is also perfect-walk to downtown!

Disappointed at arrival with flat autonomic greeting. Rooms were modern but feet stuck to tile floor due to humidity. Sheets and towels are thin. Waitress at breakfast was outstanding! Expected top notch due to price and was sorely disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay in this pleasant Inn, with adjoining dining room that had great food and charming stafff and helpful desk staff when we checked in and who took our suitcases up to 2nd floor. Alas, no elevator. That would be an important addition.
