The pool needs some serious love, daily cleaning and new water! As does the outdoor furniture and space. The staff from the front door to cafeteria to cleaning lady were all extremely nice and helpful. Area is fantastic! Thanks for a fabulous vacation!

The hotel felt fairly rundown. The breakfast was disappointing.

Very noisy, could not sleep the hole night cars and motorcycles buzzing, also lots of conversations on my floor from 6am. To get worst, I had to deal with the disappointment of my kids when they saw the swimming pool, completely green and completely different from the picture posted on Expedia. I have both pictures saved in case you want to see with your own eyes. I asked for a higher room and opposite to the street but they only had 1 room facing the street. On the end I asked them to end my booking 2 days ahead of the original day but they refused to refund me for these last 2 unused days. I simply checked out without any refund and will now check with a lawyer how to approach this situation. They destroyed my final days in Rio de Janeiro.

I had a somewhat nice stay. I accidentally left a necklace behind and the hotel confirmed they have it but won’t respond to any messages about getting it returned to me. I’ve offered to pay all costs but no response. Very disappointing

Location is convenient. Close to the beach. Copa is somewhat seedy but not to bad. Hotel older but they have upgraded some rooms that are suitable. Gotta make sure they don’t put you in one that’s older. I’d give it 3 1/2 stars

Morning breakfast was good , but the room was not what we expected.

My review will reflect on previous reviews. I'll start with the cons. The bed wasn't comfortable. The air conditioning is noisy. You can hear traffic and people talking outside all day and late into the evening. The hot water water was off for a few hours but they fixed the issue. Now rhe pros. Great location and many places to eat within walking distance. It's two blocks from the beach. Breakfast was included, that was a plus also. If you're on a budget and you want to be close to the beach then it will be worth it to you versus the beachfront hotel's and apartments. I won't be staying there on my next trip here, think I'll go with the Hilton instead.

Love everything about it ! The breakfast was great. Only thing it just needs to be updated (it looks a lil old school) other than that everything and everyone was lovely.

Great location close to the beach shops and restaurants .easy to walk to other main beaches with bikes and scooters readily available. All staff helpful and friendly Room cleaned daily and no problems but i did make full use of the room safe Buffet breakfast plentiful although repetitive The pool and gym are tiny but there is a sauna

The check-in-staff are helpful, breakfast was superb and the two elderly staff members there are so full of hospitality that they should get a prize.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! Definitely not a 4 star hotel Rooms are extremely dated, beds are not comfortable, showers are not inviting. This place is not as advertised. We saw the room and booked novotel in leme straight away. Best decision ever made was to change location immediately.

The property is good near to beach and have friendly staff. Most important that majority of stuff can communicate in english which is very helpfull for us who dont have proper knowledge of portugese

The hotel is located at the corner of 2 streets and all rooms are facing one or the other. It is noisy day and night. The furniture is very old but from massive genuine wood. A good thing is that there was lots of drawers and hangers for clothes. The room was serviced dayly and the cleanliness was good. All staff in the hotel were nice and helpful, i couldn't ask for more from them. Breakfast was nice, except the juices which were of the lowest quality. Location can't be better and the price I payed was very good but it is really only for people who can tolerate noise as it really is there all the time.
