Have stayed at Niu D'Aus before but not for about 9 years. Staff extremely helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Pool very clean but not really suitable for poor swimmers as becomes quite deep very quickly. Good location in a very quiet area.

As all apartment block in between Cala Dor and Portopetro. Quiet location though the rooms themselves are sometimes not quiet as noise carries from other apartments very easily! Usually ok, but when there is noise late at night this can be a disturbance. Small pool with loungers and parasols which we used many days - our daughter loved it. Pool condition needs improvement though. Overall the apartments were clean and functional, if a little basic. Lovely views over the bay of Portopetro. Good A/C. Staff very friendly and helpful. More generally, easy to walk to restaurants in the evening - 10-15mins to either Portopetro (very pretty) or Cala Dor Marina (bit more flash but worth a visit). Beaches are less close. One very small one within 10-15 mins walk, but not parasols for hire and very busy. We got a taxi to Cala Mondragó which was nice, and I think there is a bus too. Overall we had a lovely week’s holiday here - beautiful part of Mallorca.

The biggest disappointment was when we arrived! The photographer was either incredibly good, a genius on photoshop or took these pics 20 years ago! The place is no near what the pictures show. It was a shock.. ..truly!!! We even considered leaving if only we could find another place available. Cleaning, if so we can call it, is every second day.. ..but basically just a change of towels. There is no breakfast, as mentioned on the website! The pool is loosing bits allover the places and running water, shower included, is literally so salty that you can use it as it is for cooking pasta! The younger lady at reception is however very nice and kind, but not an experience I want to repeat again...

A pleasant, clean and simple no frills kind of place. The apartment had everything we needed with a good size balcony and excellent views over Porto Petro. Staff are lovely, pool area quiet and pretty. A short drive to sandy beaches. An easy walk to restaurants. I worked whilst staying and wifi was fine.

The apartments are situated in walking distance from Porto Petro and Cala D’or and the balcony we had on the 3rd floor had a lovely view over Porto Petro harbour and cove. The apartment block has been renovated and looks attractive with a smart modern reception and a lovely pool area. The rooms are somewhat dated with limited cooking facilities but overall we enjoyed the few days that we stayed there.

Loved the fact this property was outside of the main resort areas of Cala D'Egos and Cala D'Or, whilst still being within approx 20 mins walking distance. The property was quiet and peaceful and our room (13) was positioned at the end of a block on the third floor offering lovely views from the balcony. The only downside being that none of our tech could connect to the WiFi. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful especially the young lady on reception. The beds were rather firm but this is something of a personal choice, and the mattresses appeared to be new memory foam ones. The pool was always quiet, something for which we were grateful. We would seriously consider staying here again based on our last visit which happened to be our first to Mallorca.

Our second visit to Nui D'Aus apartments in Porto Petro. Whilst the apartments are quite basic they are in a peaceful location, are very clean and offer very good value for money. The beds are not the most comfortable but are bearable for a week. Although we didn't use the Pool and patio areas they are very attractive. The on site managers are very friendly and helpful. Porto Petro is a pretty, small resort with a handful of restaurants. Neighbouring Cala D'or ia a 7 minute drive away which is much larger and busier offering a wide variety of restaurants and bars - I would highly recommend the "Portofino" restaurant in the Marina complex of Cala D'or - the food and service is amazing - a 3 course meal with Wine averaging around £50 per person. I would recommend a Car if staying at Nui D'us apartments.

My husband & myself have just returned from a two week stay at these apartments. The rooms all face the same way towards Porto Petro - absolutely stunning views. We were nicely welcomed upon arrival and our apartment was clean & comfortable. The lounge/dining room was spacious with a small kitchen area. There were two electric rings & a microwave. We found we were very limited as to what we could actually cook, especially when we found that we could not cook bolognese in the large pan & pasta in the next largest pan as the pans would not sit together on the two rings at the same time as there simply wasn't enough room. We had to cook the pasta first, then the bolognese & then re-heat the pasta. There weren't any large serving spoons or fish slice to remove anything cooked in the frying pan! We did buy a fish slice as trying to remove a fried egg on the first morning we were there with an ordinary knife/fork/spoon was IMPOSSIBLE. We had a kettle & a toaster, adequate crockery, cutlery & glasses (no wine glasses), all spotlessly clean. 3 towel changes during our two weeks & plenty of toilet rolls. Being on the middle floor with a room above, a room below & a room either side, we found noise levels a problem, especially late at night & through the night. A group of young people kept us awake until after 5am! They were staying B & B - for one night only thank goodness! Only 2 English TV channels - both news (yawn!). To summarise - we had a great time - with just a few issues.

Great little 3* apartment. Quiet, only 19 rooms with a balcony and the pool area is very clean. Porto Petro is a charming little fishing port with some wonderful little restaurants near the Marina. Advise to have a car and these apartments are a perfect base to explore east coast of the island. Would happily recommend.

Very good base between two resorts. Head tp porto petro for nice restaurants and marina or cala egos for cocktail bars etc Visit cala egos hotels to see what you're missing- overcrowded pools, sun beds in short supply and laid out in rows with no space between, no shade and the beaches nearby are vert crowded also Cala D'or also good and full of places to eat- a bit more upmarket and expensive though You need to take a taxi from resort to carry shopping though, especially water. The tap water is undrinkable

This apartment block was very good, well maintained with top class views. Its really good in a basic way so well deserved of its rating. The pool surface has been updated with top class paving so the online pics of green surface are old and really don't do it justice. Its not a hotel!! Its apartments, so don't expect room service. The owner is there office hours. But very helpful if needed . The rooms are good but quite small but you don't go abroad to stay in. But very good balcony space so lovely evening eating and taking in the view. One bedroom with 2 single beds so a family of 4 there's a soda bed. House keeping is to a very good standard. Over all our family of 4 will go back. Thank you

A great place to stay. The studio apartment had everything we needed for 4 adults to stay comfortably. The kitchen did not have a kettle but the pot boiled very quickly on the hob. The microwave was handy. The kitchen had a good set of cutlery and plates etc. The large verandah had four comfortable chairs around a table that overlooked the pool. The pool was kept immaculately and cleaned every day, There were sufficient loungers and it was a great place to chill out. The walk to the town area of cala egos was a 15 minute walk which we did enjoy although some may find the walk a little far in the heat. There were excellent eating places at various price levels. A taxi back to the apartment cost about 3.50 to 4 Euros.

It started when we arrived only to find a note on the closed reception door to say our key was in the appartment where we were about to stay !! The reception, bar & resturant were closed & continued to be closed all seven days of our stay, We had hardly any sleep being under 2 or 3 more floors all tiled so heard every movement anyone made, If the reception would of been open we would of gone down and spoke about it but other than ringing them up on our mobiles or using the hotel call box ( which one night rang underneath us around 2am & continued several times through that night!!) we were stuck !! I did see on several websites before we arrived the appartments were fully booked so didn't ring them.
