This is a beautiful property and I would say it’s a great place to stay but I don’t think the value is there. The rooms are poorly designed and the service in the dining areas was hit or miss. Don’t get me wrong, some staff were amazing. But not all. It was a problem to ask multiple times for the same item and it never arrived. The location is stunning. I would recommend if there weren’t other places of better value in the area. It is a place for the locals, and they treated us like that. If you speak Turkish, it will take you far here!

Great place for quality/price given Bodrum is quite expensive. Staff could use more training and poor English in some cases, so go with patience. Gorgeous scenery. Overall I’d recommend this place.

Convenient

The bedding was advertised as premium bedding but the mattress was stiff and there was a very thing sheet to use to cover your body. The towels in the bathroom seemed old and crunchy. I was not offered a room upgrade but I asked for one because it was advertised in my booking but they did not upgrade me. Lo and behold, there was a very loud party outside my room, hosted by the hotel, every night, until 2am. There was no mention anywhere on the website if this disturbance. I barely got any sleep on this trip. The staff was nice and so was the beach area.

Beautiful and spacious! Staff as very helpful and food was great! We even got a free bottle of wine with our stay!

The hotel is very beautiful and very luxurious. The staff is friendly and professional. Be ready to climb stairs though! The beach club is pretty big compared to others and their restaurant is delicious. My only. complaint is that the restaurant service can be a bit slow- perhaps because we were there in peak season and the place was completely full. I also expected the room to be a bit bigger but it was still very clean, comfortable and fully equipped. If you are an early sleeper I would not recommend staying in the area, we stayed in 2 hotels in this area aside from 81 and the music runs until about 1am.

Great hotel, great location

Stayed at No81 last year and did not hesitate to be back this year. Lovely view from room and great breakfast.

Wonderful hotel, clean .very friendly staff.Location is perfect.

I sent expensive clothing for dry cleaning and they came back destroyed, losing nearly $1000 worth of apparel.

The property was in the middle of a very nice area full of nice little shops and beachside cafes/restaurants. The propertys location and the the property itself was beautiful and classy.

Service is awful.. was not able to have a drink while having breakfast. Room was old and not clean, dust particles all around. Won’t recommend to anyone

The hotel is in very nice location, beautiful views and the beach. The breakfast buffet offers some local tastes. The hotel staff is nice and polite. Room size is just OK. This hotel is not a baby or kid-friendly. Think twice if you are planning to visit this hotel with your baby or young kid. Poor service in the beach area. There are many alternatives on the menu. The food is tasty but it is a little overpriced.

Great hotel with friendly staff and most importantly it is at the center of all. Its a definitely must go place if you are going to Bodrum Turkbuku! Very clean, neat

Excellent place, excellent breakfast, excellent room and bathroom, excellent located just at the start of the promenade and excellent staff! The only downside may be the loud music playing bars around until 04:00 in the morning. Other than that, perfect in everything.

Restaurant need improvement. Horrible wifi warm hospitality

This hotel is gorgeous, and in a great location on the boardwalk along the sea. Nice that it's near the end though, so feels somewhat more private than many of the other hotels along here. Amazing breakfast in the morning - eggs to your order, and incredible honey in the honeycomb! The sun loungers are so comfortable and the staff do a great job of servicing everyone. The beach bar right on the sea is a great spot for before dinner drinks. The only negatives - although the rooms are really nice and very clean, they are quite small. And the one big issue is the late night music - it goes on until 4am, and you can hear it from pretty much any room in the hotel. So bring earplugs!! They saved me and my sleep :)

Great hotel including sea front, food, service, room cleanliness and comfort, atmosphere / vibe

Candidly this is not a BAD hotel and according to Western standards it stands in a 4 stars type of category. However this is not what I was expecting for a Deluxe Room at $700/night... Maki hotel tries to compete with the Maki Hazi next door which is considered to be one of the most luxurious hotels in Bodrum. They are competiting price wise indeed. The hotel is okay, the restaurant is very nice but at $200/head for a dinner it should be. Overall I feel very dissappointed, I've spend something like $10,000 for 8 nights (including extra costs) and I've got the bad feeling that I could have done better for this price in the Seychelles...not in "the cheap" Turkey. So unless you want to see the wealthy Turk millionnaires and their familily, I geuinely beleive there is better quality/price hotel/place elsewhere. Finally I had to check out 3 days before the origination reservation but because I had a discounted price (i.e. normal price is $850/night), I was refused a refund despite the fact that the hotel was refusing clients and therefore have given my room back within hours from my check out....
