We stayed in room 311. The aircon of the room was very bad. Totally poor. It got so bad that we have to get a fan. It is summer, the hotel can do better than to control the aircon at such a high temperature. To be honest, the hotel lobby is so much cooler.

Beautiful lobby. Easy check in. Very courteous staffs. Room is nice but could be a bit more clean. Big bath tub fills up with hotspring water quickly. Breakfast buffet is small but decent. Overall the highlight is the Bath tub.

The room and services were excellent, but the hot spring facility, though in good condition, probably needs more upkeep, given that this is a five-star hotel.

location wise, it's about 15 minutes walk from the old town center. very few restaurants around the property. It's a quiet neighborhood. Chose this hotel cos travel with a 1 year old and she'll be able to join us in the hot onsen within the room. Cleanliness of the toilet and bathroom needs improvement. It's not dirty, but you can tell it's not spotless clean and needs scrubbing. Bed and lining is clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast has no surprise. Can choose between normal western style omelette etc , or Taiwanese congee / noodles.

The overall quality and service aren't exactly bad, but definitely worse than before. Not sure if the management had changed or what, hope they get back to their quality level soon.

Probably one of the bigger hotels in Wulai area but since there are hardly any new developments or renovations of older hotels in the area the maintenance and upkeep of Pause Landis isn't amazing. The surrounding is nice and calming but you can definitely feel there has been some age to everything around you. The rooms are spacious but we got ourselves into a room facing the main road rather than the river. The bigger suites with the bigger onsen bath happens to be the one facing the main road instead. Toilet amenities are one of the bigger plus during our stay as we love their use of Bulgari toiletries. Overall decor is nice but might need a bit of renovation. The water flow to the onsen bath was also extremely poor and literally takes hours to fill up.

The room that we stayed in was spacious and contemporary in look and feel. Being low season, the hotel was peaceful and even the spa was so tranquil. All in all, we had a very good rest.

Had a great 2 day stay at the hotel. The hot spring bath in our room was great and the dinner was fantastic. Will come back again in the future.

A very comfortable hotel with excellent in-house amenities and views of the river. The giant tub in our room (which can be filled with hot spring water) was a huge, enjoyable plus. While the hotel's breakfast was good, dinner was only of average quality. Overall, the hotel's amenities were much better than the food.

Very high quality facility and friendly and professional staff that provides extra services with efficiency and a smile. While there are local good restaurants, it is only a 5-10 minutes walk to Wulai Old Street. You must try the public hot spring bath which is wonderful. The breakfast is also very good. The No. 849 public bus stops right in front of the hotel.

The room is not as clean and nice as I would have expected with this high price. And the toilet has strong cigarette smell, which is awful because we had a 4 month old baby with us....we have asked for a crib, so the staff should have known. The bed set was not in perfect condition.. to hard and humid. The dinner was surprisingly nice though... good taste and service, but the breakfast was not as delightful...the breakfast buffet was too small for the amount of guests, everyone was crushing together. I think they should reduce the rate due to the mentioned issues...not a very nice experience overall.

The hotel is nice but not in a walking distance to Wulai Old Street and the fall. Taxi or bus can be reached there with no big deal. We really enjoy during our stay.

I booked the most expensive room - Pause Suite for a weekend stay with my wife, but our experience was a bit disappointed. There was no special attention to us during our stay, food quality for set breakfast & dinner (included in package) was average. Service and staff attitude was also average. Room temperature at dining room was too warm and couldn't adjust even there were many people & hot pots. TV in our bedroom was not working, didn't have any extension cord when asked. So call "free mini bar" was only couple soda. The cleanliness of suite was poor, there were signs of not detail enough for cleaning. For the money spent, it was not worthwhile at all.
