Filthy Dinghy Tiny room Nothing like the misleading pictures

I stopped here for Pokemon go-fest Paris 2025, Location was excellent, close to gard du nord, metro, supermarkets etc…, the major down side was the hotel needs drastic modernisation, my room was filthy, with cobwebs and marks over the walls and carpet, there is no air-con, the bathroom was so small you can’t move and mould on ceiling due to no ventilation, I personally won’t be staying here again, I understand it’s a cheaper option hotel that doesn’t break the bank, but still you deserve cleanliness of the facilities.

Its a bed for the night in a convenient location

The room was not same as the pictures. The location is fantastic, the cleanliness of the room is not good, and the window can’t be closed, filling to be at the middle of the street, specially at midnight. Although we had a booking with breakfast included, it was declined at check in. After contacting Expedia, it has been confirmed, but the property was refusing it. Finally, the price paid for breakfast refunded by Expedia. It wont be by choice again.

The property was amazing and we are greatly satisfied with the service and the hotel facilities. It meets our expectation and the unit or room is clean.

Very basic hotel and room in a good location near Plaza Republique. The bathroom was renovated and has good water pressure, and the bed was comfortable, but the room was very basic with an old carpet and chipped paint in places. Worn and faded carpet in common areas. The staff was friendly.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy! The staff member on check in was extremely rude! We had no tea/coffee even though there was a jug, cups and sugar in the room. No soap or hand towel to wipe hands on after being to the toilet. Pillows were rock hard. When it came to having a shower in the morning, the water was cold. I went to reception and notified the same rude staff member to which her reply was “you must have used your limit”! There was only a 5 minute shower had! Wasn’t aware there were limits! I told her to come to the room and check for herself to which she told me the water was hot. It certainly wasn’t! She got a cleaner up to check and she agreed with me that the water was cold! Rude mate soon back tracked. We were moved to a different room in the end. Would never stay here again!

The good: The location is perfect. The staff was nice. Beds were clean and had no bed bugs. The bad: The Hotel is filthy. The bathroom is a serious health risk as it is full with black mold. The ceiling of the shower cabin is basically black, the shower head is rotting from the inside out. Behind the shower doors is even more black mold. Next to and on the hairdryer is black mold. The carpets are dirty. I have never felt so unhappy with my choice of hotel then this time. I read the reviews and thought to myself, well there are some good ones so it can’t be that bad. Oh boy was I wrong. The breakfast they offer is laughable. Please do not stay at this Hotel! After two nights we had enough and booked another Hotel. Do not be fooled by its cheap price you don’t want to stay there.

The price is way too expensive for the room size, small noisy bed. Food delivery workers outside all day talking making noise over night as well. We requested two extra pillows and were denied. Nowhere to place toilet paper nor soap in the shower. Elevator is tiny and slow. I will only recommend this hotel for a quick overnight stay but far from being a good hotel. You have to turn in the room key all the times you exit the hotel.

It was shabby. The room had inadequate lighting so after sunset it was too dark even with the light provided. I didnt like the room attendant unplugging my charger when I wasnt there

Surrounding area is very loud I heard people outside my window on the street talking and laughing late into the night. Windows didn’t have appropriate covering light still came through. No shelving in the bathroom for belongings even in the shower.

The bad: Outlets are tied to the lights, which means the lights must stay on or you cannot charge your phone, plug in a CPAP, etc. Elevator was out of service so had to haul suitcases up four flights of stairs. Bed was hard, as were the pillows. Shower so cramped you can’t bend over to wash your feet and the faucet was broken. Staff were unfriendly and seemed inconvienced by our presence. Hotel is noisy and had a strong, stale odor. The good: it’s in a convenient location.

Room was horrendous. Mould across the side wall. Show a picture to the hotel staff and they dodnt give me a response.

Location was very convenient. We had issues with the shower and they failed to clean/tide up the room in one of the days of our stay.
