Great location and clean rooms friendly staff

Clean room that was made daily. Everything felt safe and secure. Quiet room with minimal noise from street and other guests. Would stay again. If you are thinking about stay next to Plaza Mayor can not beat this combo of price and quality.

The staff was very available and helpful. The room was kept extremely clean. Breakfast was very convenient.

We had a wonderful stay at Catalonia Plaza Mayor in Madrid. It’s centrally located so we were able to walk every where. We stayed on the fourth floor. Great room. King bed. Shower, no bath tub. Free WiFi. breakfast available for cost. Very clean rooms. Daily housekeeping service. They also offer laundry service. The ppl who work here are VERY very accommodating. The location of the hotel is also very convenient for walking. Oh! I almost forgot! They also have a hot tub & gym downstairs! The hot tub is open until 11pm. And the gym is 24 hours. It was a very nice experience. We absolutely would not hesitate to stay here again when we come back to Madrid!

This hotel is lovely and centrally located. We had some issues with our flights due to weather. hotels.com called to let the hotel know that we would be checking in a day late. We were hoping that we would not be charged since we had until that day to cancel and be reimbursed. Tue hotel didn’t allow us to do that for the one night we weren’t able to stay there. Maybe to some that isn’t a big deal but to me it would have been nice. Especially since we had until that day to cancel with full reimbursement. Other than that it was a nice hotel.
