Fabulous ! Had a wonderful stay

Amazing stay here. the room was so luxurious and clean. the staff were so helpful and kind. An added bonus of the use of a lovely spa to unwind in after lots of walking up hills!

Absolutely everything was great the room with view of the hills ,breakfast was delicious staff were really nice and not far to the town centre when walking just a lovely weekend

Very convenient location. Quaint and clean

Very clean and tidy. Bed was comfy. Shower nice and hot. Breakfast was tasty although for all three morning cofee was very weak. More than three small button mushroom would be nicr.nice.

Room was extremely lovely and clean, with great amenities. The guest house was very cosy and the breakfast was great, we loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

A really lovely couple of nights at Holly Lodge. The hospitality shown from Kirsty and Barbara was 1st class and couldn’t have wished for a more welcoming and homely stay. The lounge is a beautiful and relaxing area to sit and have a drink and take in the wonderful Xmas tree . Really enjoyed the couple of visits to the health club using both the gym and the Spa which was a wonderful perk. You really can’t beat the location of Holly Lodge, literally a 90 second walk cutting through the Sainsbury’s local car park will get you onto the wonderful little high street with fantastic local shops and fantastic restaurants and cafes. I would have no hesitation in recommending Holly Lodge for a break in the Lake District. Many thanks to all the staff.

Perfect place to stay to explore the Lake District. The breakfast was a great start to the day and always served quickly with great service. Also access to the health club was a real benefit as that had great facilities.

We have just got home from a 2 night stay, had a fantastic time, the location is perfect with plenty of things to do. Our room was lovely and clean, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice both mornings, staff very friendly and we would definitely stay here again, thank you

Our room was cosy and the bed very comfortable. The location is perfect, right in town for easy access to restaurants and bars, with plenty of lovely walks nearby or just a short drive away. The only downside was breakfast on the Saturday: my husband’s full English was quite overcooked, and my porridge was more like raw oats in warm milk, not creamy at all. Thankfully, the following morning’s breakfast of crumpets and scrambled eggs was much better, so perhaps just an off day for the chef. Overall, a lovely place to stay, we’d definitely return. x

Holly Lodge was just what we needed for an anniversary weekend away. Room and hotel were lovely, breakfast was great and we were located within a stones throw away from all local shops, cafes etc. All the team made us feel very welcome and we loved our stay. Thanks again

This guest house was a great place to stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The owners were so friendly and helpful. They really made you feel at home. Convenient for walking around the shops and accessing restaurants. Easy and convenient parking. Great stay. Would recommend it!

We're got the first parking space by arriving early at about 11:30am. Good location, 30 mins walk to Bowness, Millerground Lakeshore and Orrest Head. We liked the food at Graze cafe, Rastelli's Pizzeria and Homeground Coffee + Kitchen. We liked the decorations of house and good selection of breakfast with friendly staff service. The WiFi was fast but busy at night time. One minor thing the no window bathroom's extractor fan wasn't working.
