Comfortable rooms. Quiet facility. Generally all around nice.

Brilliant place to stay. Great breakfast. Staff helpful. Rooms fine great area

The only things missing were Tea / Coffee/ Kettle and maybe a mini fridge. Otherwise lovely helpful staff and very clean hotel.

Excellent hotel in great area

the area was quiet and everyone was so nice and helped me out when I needed it. I was there for about a week and I enjoyed it a lot. They have food options around which is at the bottom of the steps near the hotel that was nice. Everything was cleaned correctly when needed as well.

The hotel was as expected beside the fact that our room was facing the street where road repairs started at 11 pm. When reported to the front desk they apologized but refused to transfer to another room .

We had a good stay at the Vulkan although the room was looking a little “tired” round the edges. For a hotel that would be used by a lot of tourists, they had a strangely early breakfast time during the week - finishing at 0930! Location is excellent however with easy walking distance to Grunerlokka for great bars/restaurants and even into Oslo city centre along the Akerselva river.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent, convenient to sites and public transport. It was a great walking area, an interesting and safe place next to lots of restaurants and shopping. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! A great stay.

Nice small hotel, we stay for a concert at vulkan Arena and it was so convenient that the s around the corner. Breakfast was very good. I would stay again.

Would come back to stay at this hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Vulkan, the staff were friendly, there were plenty of places to eat/drink nearby and the walk into town was very easy. The breakfast was amazing!

Right nextcto a great area includingbislos o ly big food hall market. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby . Very pleasant area . Hotel great vibe and extensive breakfast

Lovely hotel in a great area. Was wel decorated and the staff is really helpful.

Upgraded our room when we arrived and ventured out for the day. The a/c was not working in our room so they moved us rooms (downgraded space, etc) at 11pm rather than look at the a/c. Downgraded room a/c was also quite poor but you couldn’t open the window because the a/c wouldn’t then work. It was uncomfortably hot and when we inquired the next morning - all the check out person said was she wasn’t working. In sum, paid for upgraded room that they moved us from to an inferior room with also very poor a/c. Terrible sleeping experience. Otherwise the hotel location was great and the decor was nice.

Loved our room and stay. Loved the centralized location in Oslo, the professionalism and thoughtfulness of the staff, and — very much — the breakfast. That breakfast was almost a religious level of indulgence. Brilliant stuff.

Not bad location but not perfect. No help with luggage. Room too hot.
