Superior room had air conditioning. Pool and spa superb. Restaurant excellent on Friday night. You do need a car as it’s 5km from a village. Lovely character buildings. Breakfast good

We choose this location because of it position near the river and also because it would be quiet. It is a wonderful place and well worth making the effort to get to.

Super overnight stay in a beautiful location

Very pretty and relaxing property

Avoid at all cost, checked in, it’s supposed to be a spa hotel, 3rd of June and the pool is not in use, asked about the spa, was informed we had to book it at a cost of €35 each for a two hour slot, but because it was after 4.00 we couldn’t book it until 10.00 am the following morning, when you have to be out by 12.00 from the hotel. We had booked for dinner, what a disaster, salmon mouse, looked like dog sick, black hair in my wife’s salad, and the sirloin beef came cut up already, as tough as old boot leather. Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, we got back to the room, Isle 4, found we had no water for a shower, went to get in to bed only to find it infested with bed bugs !!!!! Reported it to the owner, he offered us another room, but we declined, I’ve never been out of a hotel so quick in my life !!!

Excellent staff and very accommodating. Absolutely stunning venue right next to the river Loire outstanding restaurant and atmosphere right next to the river which is such a lovely peaceful place to have dinner. Food exceptional.

Great place for an isolated SPA vacation. Got stuck outside trying to get back in after hours, was not given the code and was told it would be opened. Nice staff and great outside pool, inside pool needs a new lining. Not bad but not a place that I would chose to go back to. Really nice staff in an outdated resort.

The location of this hotel on the banks of the river, is, as the name suggests, very quiet and a little remote. Le Lude is about 1.5kms away. On arrival the reception was very good and helpful. The room was pleasant but had very limited views. We ate in the restaurant and found the food to be of a high quality. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is in rather a quaint but quite location. If you are looking for somewhere way from the hustle and bustle then this will be right up your street

Very isolated location but picturesque. Would perhaps be worth bringing a french phrase book for non French speakers as English was limited (though we managed)

Nice meal in evening very quiet well worth a visit

The property seemed unable to have English speaking guests; language was a problem; the restaurant had only 1 of 3 menus available; we had to make do with the Plat D'Jour instead of either the A la Carte or Gourmet which we would have preferred.

Interesting building, nice food, very comfortable room and pleasant stay. Really handy for the Zoo at La Fleche which my son really enjoyed.

Lovely peaceful location but with good access to local amenities. Eating in the restaurant was good but in no way exceptional. However, the hotel was fairly empty and therefore the large restaurant area lacked any atmosphere as there was only one other couple dining.

Not busy considering this was a Friday deep in vacation period, but very welcoming despite late arrival. restaurant is good, lovely terrace location next to Le Loir. Rooms spacious, nice swimming pool, excellent breakfast.

If you want somewhere small and quiet then this fits the bill. Nothing fancy. Good low cost stop off on journey south. Food was good also two local towns are easy to get to. Staff are friendly with a bit of Engish spoken, a few French phrases plus a bit of gesticulation and you will get by. Pretty location (old mill), good sized pool, rooms are a bit bigger than an average bedroom with tv, desk, shower and toilet. If the sun's out ther's plenty of quiet corners round the place. Would stop here again.

Beautifully and tastefully renovated period buildings, luxuriously and confortably furnished in such a peaceful setting. The owners are welcoming, friendly and considerate and the restaurant is simple but good value. We will visit again at the first opportunity.

WE très relaxant, environnement tel que sur les photos, très beau cadre. Pas de bruit dans les environs. Le SPA est bien agencé, pas de monde lors de notre séjour, très propre, l'hôtel aussi. A refaire.
