When we booked this hotel, the description stated there is onsite parking. But when we checked in, the staff told us there was no onsite parking and we had to park at coin operated parking lot in the area.

Room and bathtub small for the price. Room was dusty, triggering my allergies severely, sheets made me itch. ‘Continental breakfast’ was cold bread rolls, horrible soup, bad coffee juice from concentrate. At least the soft boiled eggs tasted well but they need to learn how to cook them to allow shells to peel easily. For over 100 dollars I was disappointed. Staff were fine, no problems.

Did not realize that there was no formal lobby to meet friends. Staff didn't seem to care at all about guests. Was NOT able to park in the garage because the Toyota Camry as too bid! Had to park and pay 1,000 yen and then walk 5 blocks to and from Hotel.

I arrived in Kurume by JR so I needed a 5-minute bus ride to the station. The hotel is near Nishitetsu Kurume station, so I could walk to Nishitetsu station and take shuttle bus to Fukuoka airport directly, which was very convenient. A eating street is located behind the hotel, which is a good place to experience the Japanese "izakaya" culture. The hotel itself looks old fashioned, so as the room facilities. But this did not affect me much. I had a comfortable stay in this hotel. The staff are friendly and home-baked fresh bread is provided every day.

For the price, I don’t think the amenities offered, breakfast available and the size of the room is sufficient.

Good service, but watch out if you go in winter! The air conditioning dial means "heat" not "cool"! Other than that, the service staff was very good, even though I could speak only minimal Japanese. I do think it helps to speak some Japanese and understand some, especially since Kurume is not the "big city", like Tokyo. But they showed me local places to go, and helped me with the Airport Limo bus service schedule. Continental breakfast is limited to boiled egg, rolls (beef tongue!), and coffee or tea, which was fine with me. Room size is on the smaller side compared to U.S. Okay for one person, but very tight if there are two!

OK but would say that place is just average. Hotel staff could not speak English well but that would have been OK if they showed a bit of initiative and helpfulness esp to newly arrived guests esp if from overseas like us. I put it down to attitude basically. They directed us to a recommended Yakitori restaurant that was fully booked and after that had nothing more to suggest. It was Sat night, we walked the streets looking for place to eat. Unlike other Japanese hotels that we experienced on trip, staff not v helpful. Simple breakfast was included in room price. Overall, hotel was OK I suppose.

The hotel had a good staff, free breakfast. Room was clean and had all the amenities one would need. Like most Japanese hotels I've stayed, bed was too hard but slightly better than others. Budget and regular hotels need to focus on the basics cause they can't compete with luxury hotels -bed/rest is 90% what hotels are about. The combination (firm/soft) pillow was great. The hotel is surrounded by many nightlife shops and there was lots of drunken noise that sometimes woke me up.

Kurume Is about 30 minutes from Hakata station in Fukuoka by Shinkansen. It's not too far out of the way if you have a rail pass. Also, it's half way down the line to Kumamoto. The hotel is clean, the staff is polite, and the breakfast is nice too!
