What a charming and eclectic Riad! Staff was amazing, and breakfast was always wonderful. The Riad is in a great location to explore the Medina and there are great places to eat just a short walk away. The dinner we had at the Riad itself was wonderful as well. Would definitely book again if I were to return to Fes!

If you’re looking for easy access to the old city this is a convenient location. We were able to walk every where. There’s so much to do and see at all times. The location was very safe, clean, spacious and comfortable. Character is endless in the beautifully restored and maintained riad. It felt like visiting a castle. The rooms are not conventional or modern but that’s what give them their charm. The staff go above and beyond to care for any request. We left very early and were given a box breakfast to take along for our journey. So very thoughtful. We will be back to visit many times!

Very immersive cultural experience. Enjoyed the dates they offered at breakfast and the proximity of the location to things. We even got a free room upgrade which was really nice. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful to answering all our questions.

The bathroom door could not be locked and the management couldn't fix it. Breakfast was plain with limited choices. Rooms were awkwardly shaped and were not safe ,especially for seniors. The steps leading to the Rooms very narrow and dangerous. The curtains were not hung properly and electrical outlets were not placed conveniently

The staff was amazing. The receptionist Ikaram welcomed us with a cup of tea and invited us to wait in the garden. It was impressive to see how attentive she was with us while multitasking and helping other guests at the same time. She was so kind and responsive! The riad is in a great location — just a few minutes’ walk from the Blue Gate of the Medina. The area feels safe and quiet. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. Totally recommended!

Stayed 3 nights and only had one with hot water. Excellent location. Heating system was not very good. Lovely staff but put my “needs to be refrigerated” medicine in the freezer so I had to throw out $1000 worth of medicine. breakfast was quite nice.

Not up to 4 star rating. Many better Riads in the area. Not clean. Not much to eat for breakfast. We were asked to check out before 11am. No one helped to carry heavy luggage to go down from difficult stairs. Do not recommend this place.

Things to like - location is close to petite taxi and near the top of the Medina which in Fes is important because it's built on a hill. The official guide recommended was decent but still took you to the rug shops etc even after saying no thanks. The manager is pretty good and helpful as is the night manager, but doesn't speak much English which wasn't an issue. The day person is less helpful. Laundry, was more expensive than in Europe, and they separated whites and charged for two loads, and they didn't come back very clean. They provided breakfast to go on the day we left early. We would say it's an average stay that's got a good location for easy in and out access. Didn't get a chance to try the pool, but the AC worked well. Note that all of the rooms have the bathrooms and the bedrooms on different floors within the same room. Ours had a low clearance door which I hit (6') maybe 5 out of 10 times, mostly at night. The bathrooms are decent. In Morocco, already remember to open the floor drain in the shower or it will fill up, which no one told us. The double beds are very firm. If you have the 3rd person bed is soft, because it's actually a couch.
