It's like a good hotel where they've stopped spending money. I had the layout of a nice 4* but with the feel of a Premier Inn or Travelodge. The place was very slim on staff.

The window facing the road would not shut as the locking mechanism was broken, which resulted in hearing all the noise from the busy road as well as letting a draft in. Went to have a shower in the evenings/mornings and the 'hot' water was was barely warm. The room was clean but felt very tired and needed an update.

A nice hotel but looking tired, especially the rooms. Advertise room service after 10pm but non available. Very expensive for what it is, but anything nearer Dublin you need a small mortgage.
