Cool property in historic district. Rooms are not fancy but they are large with large bathroom and very high ceilings. Hallways are very wide, tall, and impressive. Apparently the place used to be a convent.

Not too clean

The Grand Hotel de Queretaro is centrally located, making it a perfect base for exploring Querétaro. Our room was ready upon arrival, which made check-in smooth and convenient. Marina kindly arranged our early morning transportation to the airport, and the bell staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay if you want to be in the heart of central Querétaro.

Very kind and accommodating staff, and the location is excellent! However, that being said, you should be prepared for some noise due to the area. The hotel is definitely dated and could benefit from renovations. Unfortunately, when I went to take a shower, I discovered black mold covering the bathroom. The staff responded quickly, which I appreciated, but I didn’t feel comfortable staying in the room for health reasons. There were no other rooms available, so I had to leave late Saturday night. Since then, Hotels.com has been trying to contact the property on my behalf, but unfortunately there has been no response to issue the refund I was told they would issue.

All the staff members were very attentive and helpful. The hotel has an unparalleled location, plus it's clean and A/C works. I recommend it to anyone to visit Queretaro.

The pros: The property location is excellent, right in the middle of everything! Our room had the most gorgeous view of the church and square. Convenient valet parking (for a fee), very nice staff. The cons: dirty and raggedy carpets throughout the hotel, a musty smell in the room, - which is probably from the carpet! and very low pressure in the shower. I had to request a luggage rack, as there was nowhere to set our suitcases. The building is absolutely beautiful, but in need of TLC. New carpets or floors are a MUST.

Spotless!

We reserved a balcony view room for a mother-daughter trip and were surprised that the hotel and location exceed our expectations! We felt safe throughout our trio and the hotel is conveniently located in the center. The hotel has beautiful wooden panels attached to the balcony windows and we used them at night…they worked wonders in blocking off the city noise. 5 stars for our experience at this hotel!!

Our favorite hotel to stay the staff is super nice and accommodating, and you can’t beat the location right in the central of everything downtown. Love it here

nice place, only discomfort the church across the hotel, the Bell ring every hour on the hour, hard to have a deep sleep, even using earplugs. 😒

The room was very clean and modern and the hotel was fairly quiet. There was a lot of activity happening in the downtown area, but the hotel is insulated enough from some of the noise. You heard some, but not a lot.
