We stayed at La Monnaie for two days in June 2026. The hotel is a very nice boutique hotel in a perfect location. Our room was nice, cosy and quiet overlooking the harbor. There is private parking available inside the courtyard, safe and spacious. Breakfast is buffet style, was excellent. There is a little gym, sufficient for basic workout. We will definitely come back. On a separate note La Rochelle itself is a beautiful city.

The staff were incredible room very clean. Breakfast well presented and worth the cost. May beca sign on coffee machine that does the hot milk. Car park was excellent. Good lift.no need for stairs (75) years old

Lovely stylish hotel, clean, comfortable and just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Great receptionist, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area and events. Will definitely stay there again.

We stayed two nights as a family of four.We had a very pleasant stay, the hotel is ideally located very central but also quiet. It was fully booked but felt peaceful. The staff are helpful, friendly and courteous. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety. Rooms were modern and comfortable. When I’m back in La Rochelle I would stay here for sure.

Everything was better than perfect! We were met in front of the parking by the concierge with a huge smile, despite the fact that we were an hour late and he had waited for us in the rain. He spoke fabulous English and also French, who helped us to park and also with our bags. The best welcome l have ever experienced The room was spotless and flawless ( fantastic coffee machine!) The breakfast was exceptional and we were greeted each morning with a smile and freshly squeezed orange juice Lovely atmosphere in the hotel and the best staff l have ever encountered You can have a hotel with perfect decor, rooms etc but the staff are what make the cherry on the cake We will definitely return An absolute pleasure Thank you
