Great pub with wonderful food & lovely staff

Great food, clean comfy rooms, plenty of on site parking.

Nice welcome from Jack your given two keys one for your room and one for access to the building for out of hours Room was clean spacious very large Sony tv nice welcome pack of French press coffee and biscuits Bed comfortable large wardrobe nice bath and shower combo No breakfast options Had evening meal food very good will stay again when in the area

The facilities are good and the rooms are well provided and clean. The food in the restaurant is excellent and of high standard. There is a range of spirits and wines in the bar, and the beers on tap were nice. Car park was ample for the area.

Stayed here a few times now. We always have an evening meal here and it is the best food by far. Staff are amazing too. Just gutted they don’t do breakfast but fully understand with the cost of living 😊

Very friendly staff and a lovely modern looking pub/restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable with a decent shower. Evening meal (game pie) was very tasty and reasonable value. Shame they don’t offer breakfast but this was clearly explained beforehand so no issues. Recommended and would stay again.

Beautiful accommodation with a fantastic restaurant and the perfect location for a weekend away.

Nice tidy place to stay, no breakfast was a bit of a let down. Evening meal menu was limited but high quality.

Although I did not use the restaurant or bar, I did see the inside and it looked very homely and comfortable. The staff I met were very helpful and respectful. My room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. I would most definately recommend this hotel and I will be using it again when I am next in the area.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Good tea facilities and nice biscuits. The pub area is lovely for a drink. Would definitely stay there again.

The check in was very easy and the staff very friendly. the food offering was great and very well cooked and presented.

Meal was lovely, unfortunately no breakfast, or suggestions where to go. Room great,lots of lights, room, comfortable and great clean bedding. Nice big mirror in the bedroom too. Towels nice white and fluffy. Only negative is the noice from the road through the night, could do with improved glazing as it’s a main route for trucks

It is very easy to get into Bury St Edmunds without a car, as the bus stop for the 84,86 service is next to the Cadogan Arms.with buses every 30 minutes. The staff are all very helpful and polite too. Plus such very comfy mattresses and good sized en-suite bathroom. The food is very good and very well presented too. Would I use the Cadogan Arms again certainly.
