Edda is so thoughtful, kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! The property is her family home for generations and allows you to have a genuine experience of the local culture. It is about a 30-40 minute drive to some of the beaches but I prefer to stay where there are less tourists and I can immerse into the local culture. Nearby Pignine is a beautiful small town. I cannot thank Edda enough for such a wonderful stay.

A quaint old fashion very typical Italian b and b. Very hard to find on sat nav. Would benefit greatly from air conditioning as this detracts from the comfort. Close to Pignone which is a lovely little town with a very good pizza restaurant. Host is very keen to please.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Meridiana and we can confidently say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the hostess' hospitality was top-notch—warm, welcoming, and she was always eager to assist. Check-in was smooth, and we were quickly shown to our room, which exceeded our expectations. The village is quaint and serene, and the outside of the hotel is beautiful. The soothing sounds of a picturesque babbling brook can be heard from the square which adds to the village experience. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, with modern amenities and a cozy ambiance that made it feel like a home away from home. What really stood out during our stay was the attention to detail. The hotel offered thoughtful touches like complimentary waters daily and an in-depth breakdown of the area (including restaurant recommendations, transportation details and scenic areas to view). Breakfast each morning was a delightful spread of both hot and cold options, catering to every taste and dietary need. In summary, LA Meridiana provided an unforgettable experience that went above and beyond our expectations. From the accommodations to the exceptional service, every detail was flawless. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort and outstanding hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

The B&B was adorable and Edda was a most wonderful host. The B&B is in a very small village. It was a great jumping off point for Cinque Terre.

This was such a beautiful place. We had our own little apartment, came with a big bedroom, A kitchen with fridge and stove. A bathroom with a washing machine too. We did not realize you need a car to get around the area. But there is a delicious restaurant two minutes walking from the hotel. And a delicious breakfast each morning. Edda was so nice and kind and very attentive. We would stay here again with her in the future. Highly recommend.

The B&B is located in a quiet town that is a lovely contrast to the busy tourist crowd at Cinqueterre (a short drive away). The hospitality and breakfast were excellent! The nearby restaurant recommendation was delicious. Loved listening to the sound of the stream nearby as I read in bed after a long hike.

Our family of 4 stayed here over the summer and had a wonderful experience. We wanted to stay somewhere close to Cinque Terre but many of the hotels right in Cinque Terre were pretty pricey. This bed & breakfast was a great option. It was about a 20 minute drive from Monterosso in a quaint little village. The owners were so hospitable and made us feel at home. We felt like we were guests in their home. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and they were very helpful with giving us directions and suggestions for restaurants. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone.

My wife and I stayed for two nights on a road trip through southern Europe, and this has so far been our favorite accommodation. It is a beautiful 30 minute mountain/forest drive from any of the Cinque Terre villages, and located in a cute midieval village of its own. The building itself is about 400 years old (other parts of the village ~600), but has been updated with very nice and spacious rooms. The hosts are a very nice couple who went out of their way to make sure we knew our way around the area, and had all of the info we needed (maps, parking, restaurants, train/boat prices & timetables, etc) to make the most of our day in the Cinque Terre region. The breakfasts were amazing, including an assortment of delicious home-made cakes and pies (when in Rome...). They also pointed us towards some very good nearby restaurants, including one there in the village (Picolo Paradiso) and a pizzaria in neighboring Pignone (Il Castellaro). We couldn’t recommend La Meridiana any more highly. We hope to be back some day!
