Lovely hotel, great location and so much to do! Absolutely loved it

Quiet location

Very nice and helpful staff, a good variety of different food options for breakfast and dinner. I would say the only thing that I didn’t quite agree with is the lack of privacy in the room itself, the bathroom door was a clear see-through sliding door, and I had requested twin beds but received a full or standard that did not separate.

The accommodation was brilliant, super modern and comfortable large rooms. The beds were soft and the bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast was great - lots of options and my mum who is gluten free was tailored to with various options. Also loved that there was matcha available!! Beach was literally across the road with super clear water. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and local shops.

Albert & Mar provided A1 service, 10s across the board! The hotel itself is SUPER clean! I often saw workers cleaning in between the crevices of the banister on the staircase. Room was cleaned everyday, I stayed 4 days & 3 nights! It’s super close to the beach literally right across the street, less than a 1min walk. They give you a free complimentary welcome drink. I highly recommend the all inclusive option, the food was really good & fresh puddings, even alcohol were included too. I also visited the spa 10/10. No complaints, if I come back this will be my go-to spot yo stay. The front desk was also super helpful in securing rides throughout the city & translating when needed. Was disapointed with the partial sea view, it was less than a quarter, also no tea facilities in the room, when asked at reception , this was not available , english people expect this in any hotel, the evening meal was very good

Amazing property, impecably clean and amazing food selection at breakfast and dinner buffet.

The hotel is beautiful, and the food selections at breakfast and dinner were great. There was a lot of confusion through when I asked for a late checkout. It took 3 attempts at reception to get this sorted.

The location is amazing, with such a gorgeous little Cala across the road. We loved that you can use the spa, included in your stay, and the buffet breakfast not only has a huge selection, of good quality products, but there is even Cava to toast with! The staff were all lovely and as we stayed in April, the price point was incredible value. I will only say a few things let it down - no shampoo in the bathroom (only one shower gel), the rain shower was so weak, and the towels maybe we brand new as they left white bits all over our skin and just slid over us rather than actually drying us if that makes sense. So the actually bathroom experience was really bad, and a few simples fixes could make this hotel a 10/10.

The entire hotel was very clean, including the spa/sauna, restaurant and outdoor area. Shower pressure & temperature no problems, comfy bed, and a nice balcony. I selected half board option and I'm glad I did! Both breakfast and dinner buffet were plentiful and fresh, different types of food to chose from, and every day there was something different for the main for dinner. I was so full after breakfast so I didn't really need to have lunch during my stay. There were also some nice cafes and restaurants close to the hotel, and the beach was just a stone's throw away. The beach parasol, sunbed and security box were so affordable to rent for the whole day (about £16 pp), unlike other Mediterranean beach resort. Reception, restaurant waiting staff, housekeeping staff were all friendly and kind. I'd definitely come back to this hotel again for a relaxing solo holiday :) (*One request I have for the hotel would be to have a kettle in a room, or rent a kettle at the front desk!)

Loved the spa and food choices were good. However, there were limited labels on the food so it's pot luck what you put in your mouth sometimes. Every food item needs a correct label!! Room not very well cleaned at all (surfaces with bits on, phone caked in dust, random hairs here and there, and shower had some plastic left in it) and think it's wrong that you have to pay for a safe! We locked things in our suitcase instead but it's not ideal. This hotel could be amazing if there weren't so many cost cutting shortcuts e.g. better cleanliness in the rooms, provide shampoo and pool towels for free, tissues and a bin in the room, etc. Also allow free water in the half board meal. We were told off for bringing our own water bottles in! Overall was good value for money due to the spa being included, but wouldn't have been happy if the price was higher.

The hotel is renovated, with large and clean rooms. 5 stars for daily cleaning and towel changes. The food is practically the same every day, but there's a wide selection. A big plus for the beautiful beach across from the hotel, although sunbeds are available for a fee. Unfortunately, the pools aren't heated. Overall, it was a very pleasant vacation.

Absolutely phenomenal stay. Am already planning on booking again next May!

Cons - First day I got here I used the drink machine and a dead fly came out. Not sure how often it’s cleaned - No water in gym, in fact no place to fill up water bottle. You have to pay for water, even though they say they care about single use plastic. They don’t. - Can only get a beach towel if you pay a cash deposit of €10. They don’t take card for this. - When checking in, no one offered to take my bag in. Customer service in general is 3/10 - No water or kettle in room - No iron in room and can only take €10 cash deposit to use an iron. - No hand wash in toilet near the gym. God knows that bacteria is being spread. - When cooking they used the same utensils for the meat and fish. Pros - Nice views - I got at a decent price - Food is good

Great hotel, newly renovated, possibly the best scrambled eggs I've had at a breakfast buffet. Bit of confusion on check in, where my booking for two people through hotels.com came to them as one person, but was promptly sorted.

Booked a room with partial sea view and they gave the room with the garbage bin, toilet was not clean still see what happened with the previous guest used. I went ask the reception to change the room which what i booked they were very upset and act like they were doing me a favor not end there yet, there no water in the room. I just went to ask for some hot water in the morning, they ignored me at first then said no hot water, the only way to get a cup of hot water that i have to pay 15€ for the breakfast if I want to get a cup of water.

Great place.

The hotel is new and looks great. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. We felt very taken care of while we were there. Cala Marsal is beautiful, the hotel being right opposite the beach is really convenient. It is also a short walk to Portocolom for more eating options. We used it as our to visit Porto Cristo and Cala D'or I would definitely stay with them again.
