We had a wonderful stay at Hikka Tranz. Ovindhi at the front desk and Uditha at the restaurant were extremely helpful. We can't wait to return again.

Det är ett helt ok hotell. Något slitet och rummen behöver renoveras. Att brandvarnaren blinkade över sängen hela nätterna var otroligt störande. Vi åkte under lågsäsong så det var lugnt på hotellet. Många som jobbade där var väldigt trevliga men de kändes inte alltid så pigga och alerta. De borde gått runt och erbjudit dryck vid poolen eller så för att öka försäljningen. Överlag nöjda ändå!

The hotel is very nice and room very good tbh all cinnamon hotels are very good standard and during our holiday we stayed in 4 of their properties. The only reason for low score is due to additional charges for our room. I made a mistake when I booked and did not add my husband to the booking (even though charge for room is same for 1 or 4 people) the hotel charged me $50 per night to add my husbands name to the room ( the room charge was only $80 per night) this seems extortionate charge for an amendment to the name on the booking especially as the room cost is not much more per night. So please double check your booking before going, if I had spotted the mistake 2 days before arriving then there would not have been additional charge. This really tainted our stay and was very upsetting as there seemed no real reason to charge this amount

Staff was good.Services good also.Everybody’s so friendly even not inside hotel. We had a great time. I’d love to come over again as soon as we can.

This is a lovely resort with a nice pool and immediate beach accces. The restaurants are really great and breakfast is varied and filling. The room was slightly dated but clean with a nice view of the sea and resort. You can also quite easily walk around the area but everything you need is within the resort.

This is a really nice hotel - included very nice elements of Sri Lankan culture while maintaining all of the modern comforts you would expect out of a 4 star hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the pool area was super nice with great views of the ocean from every chair. Very relaxing. Wifi was also very strong throughout the entire resort grounds, and food was delicious with a lot of options in the buffet. The surrounding town of Hikkaduwa isn't the nicest, but you won't want to leave the resort so it's okay.

Spacious room with a luxurious Verandah with sea view, nice walking space, large swimming pole, very nice beach, also reasonable price food. One negative things washroom in common space need to clean more.

This is me for the 4th time and Hikka Tranz didn't disappoint. All in one package, 5 start resort experience, great food, pool, and beach. Will definitely visit again.

Good: The beach. The pool. The variety of dining options. The hotel though in several areas like the rooms, lifts etc could be cleaner / better maintained. The AC struggled to lower the room temp below 24C. The light in the cupboard where the safe is located would not switch off. Flushing the toilet resulted in it running for over 5 minutes. The grout on the shower enclosures could do with the occasional clean with bleach…. Not what I expected of a hotel with such high daily charges.

Turtle beach and the hotel are quite lovely. Saw turtles on all 3 days there. Who knew Sri Lanka was sooo nice. The hotel breakfast is very good. Good variety of foods, good quality.

Avoid at all cost! Hotel ia tired looking and Room is old, aircon is LOUD that you cant have a peaceful sleep! Gym equipment are rusty, Walkway to the room is dark and breakfast limited choice. Front desk is inefficient and security team lack initiative and worst they abused their authority ny profilitheir guest. The only plus in this hotel is the friendliness and efficency of service staff is crab shack restaurant.

Staff really friendly and helpful. It’s a 4 star hotel downstairs but rooms aren’t 4 star. Comfortable but compact and dated. Lovely views from balcony. Grounds and pool area plenty of space.

The hotel is in a great location , the receptionist did a fantastic job , the view from our room was breath taking , would highly recommend it to everybody !

This property is a pretty run down for the price. There are some good things about it for sure, and it could be a great resort. In my opinion these are the changes that need to be made. -The front desk was slow, understaffed, have poor procedures, and at times had a bad attitude. We had a rude bartender who seemed very confused about our room number, arguing we had already checked out. Buying two beers while we were paying guests was an ordeal. The rest of the staff was great. -The bed needs a headboard, like a proper bed. Your pillow is against a dirty wall that was stained. The room needed a deep clean. -For many westerners like myself, coffee is more important than breakfast. Good coffee, readily available in larger portions, would be a simple, inexpensive change to make caffeine-fiend westerners happy. For me, bedding and coffee are the two most important things a hotel can offer. -This hotel attracts some very unpleasant guests. It isn't the hotels fault, but be prepared.

The hotel is well located In Hikkaduwa. The property is extremely old un un-kept. Service is very slow and a lot of the basics (lounge chairs, terrace, appliances) are not in good condition. Fortunately the property will undergo a mayor renovation during the first half of 2020.

The location is great, the whole staff very friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was very good. Food was great. The only thing is that some of the facilities have obviously seen several years of use ... with minor repairs left.
