Very helpful Staff, really wonderful people which made our stay so enjoyable. When we had a cancelled uber the concierge was incredibly helpful and patient assisting us in making our train. Will definitely recommend this hotel to others wishing to stay on the left bank of paris.

Hotel staff were amazing and went above and beyond! They helped us with navigation, gave us a keyboard and helped us post a post card! The area was very safe and we (two girls) felt comfortable walking around! There is a supermarket, pharmacy and restaurants all around the hotel. We appreciated the 24/7 staffing of the hotel and its perfect location in regards to many metros. The Eiffel Tower is about 30 mins by metro and walking, we found it helpful to use “citymapper” (app). The room was small but clean and perfect for what we needed. We would highly recommend and consider this location great value. There are many coffee shops local that, we found, did cheaper yet better coffee than other places in Paris.

I do feel that, perhaps 6-10 years ago this was a three star hotel. However, management had not maintained the property in the manner one would expect of a 3 star hotel. Is very much closer to a 2 star at this point. Lots of dust, some mold, an overwhelming mildew smell that, once I opened the window over night, thankfully dissipated. The staff was very kind, and expressed concern when I informed them of my mildew allergy. I did not take off my socks in the room, if that’s an indicator of anything. Definitely not a place to stay unless you plan to only sleep there. I did not partake of the breakfast buffet, however the minifridge worked fine. Several issues of condition vis a vis wear and tear to the built-ins to the room. Again, something one expects in a two-star, but less so from a three star. The carpeting in the halls is stained and dingy, and the elevator has seen better days long ago. The bed linens were clean. The room though had layers of dust on some surfaces, including dirtied buttons on the phone and television remote. Disappointing overall.

The hotel itself looked ok, however I booked a quad room and what I got was an apartment several doors down from the hotel, full of mold and dust, no elevator (had to drag 3 heavy suitcases up a narrow flight of stairs and noone offered to help). I booked this as a three star hotel and as such, by law it is supposed to have an elevator, problem is, nowhere does it say that if you book a room for 4, you would be sent to another building with no reception, broken TV, dirty room, and hazardous mold. Hotel was not able to give me a room in the hotel as booked. Ran out of there next day. Still waiting for a refund for the room that was a nightmare at a premium price of $500 a night. See photos.

Check-in was easy but the hotel room has not so good. I got a queen size bedroom and the only positive was that I had a large window that could open, with a street view. Besides that, there was no mini fridge (they called it a mini bar but couldn’t keep anything cool), no storage whatsoever (no closet or drawers at all), mold was growing in the bathroom, and the only thing room service gave you was fresh towels - they never changed the sheets in the 4 nights I stayed. I’ve stayed at similarly priced hotels in Paris and never had as bad of a room experience as this hotel - pick a different place!!

Booking said city view but i think they meant street view. Shower door didn't open fully - toilet was in the way. Toilet was squished next to vanity with sharp corner.

I believe this is my third time staying at Hotel Mayet. The hotel location is great when visiting Paris as it is just steps away from the Duroc metro station and walking distance to quite a few sites like the Luxembourg Gardens, Rodin Museum (15 minute walk) and more. However, the metro system in Paris is quick, easy, affordable, and convenient so I recommend maximizing your time using the metro to visit all the sites. We even used the metro to get to the Invalides station where we picked up the RER to Versailles for a fun day trip. Around the hotel are lovely cafes and restuarants. There is a laundry mat on the left across the street and a small grocery store on the street to the right of the hotel along with a bank, boulangerie, and other great shops. The rooms are small but comfortable and functional. The elevator is big enough for sending your luggage up to your floor while you take the spiral staircase up to meet your bags. The 24 hour front desk is very convenient for late arrivals, which we were very grateful for since our flight from Florence arrived in Paris at 10:00pm. There is a breakfast offered for an additional cost and it looked delicious but we were just grabbing a quick croissant and latte at the boulangerie on the corner before heading out to our adventure for the day.

I recently stayed at this charming Parisian hotel and had a wonderful experience. If you’re visiting Paris, this hotel is an excellent choice due to its fantastic location, delicious breakfast, and exceptionally friendly staff. From arrival, the staff made us feel at home with their warm hospitality, offering helpful recommendations and engaging in friendly conversation. The location is ideal, with excellent restaurants just steps away and metro stations nearby for easy city exploration. A highlight of our stay was the breakfast, which at just 14 euros, offers great value with fresh pastries, quality coffee, and other staples—perfect for starting a day of sightseeing. Parisian hotels often have smaller rooms, and this one is no exception, reflecting the city's typical compact design. However, this is standard and shouldn’t detract from the overall experience. Our room was cozy, well-appointed, and comfortable. In summary, this hotel provides a superb location, a great breakfast at a reasonable price, and exceptional staff. Embrace the Parisian charm of compact accommodations for a delightful stay.

Decent location. Good for walking to attractions. Room is basic with a small shower but does the job for a few nights. You have to hand your key in when you leave the hotel every time which we thought was weird but seemed to be fine. Beds were very squeaky ! Would recommend this hotel.
