Quiet, convenient location to local attractions, nice surroundings, great for a weekend stay!

Lovely B&B. Great breakfast - order the cooked breakfast the night before, but also get a selection of berries, yoghurt, cereals available. Nice sitting room available for guests to use. Good restaurant just over the road (George & dragon), so book that too and you'll be sorted. We visited Lowther Castle nearby, which is a great day out - huge kids outdoor play area

This guest house is a gem! Our family enjoyed staying here on our way home from the Scottish Highlands. It was immaculate and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant! We hope to return.

This was a really great place to spend the night on my way home. The room and bathroom were lovely. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Dog friendly. Great location to get on and off the motorway. It was still quite quiet though.

Lovely old house with beautiful garden. The host was very helpful and friendly. I stayed in a small single room that had it's own exclusive large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with good choice, fresh fruit and range of eating times.

Amazing host who catered for my dietary needs without any fuss. Room was spotless with comfy beds. Breakfast was AMAZING, really set us up for a day on the fells. Our dog was fussed over by Pru and we were all made to feel very welcome. The perfect host and location for exploring the Eastern Fells and surrounding area.
