Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful and relaxing, but the pricing feels more in line with a 5-star luxury property, while the overall experience is closer to a solid 3.5–4 stars.
The room was comfortable and well equipped for a short getaway, with a mini fridge and a private balcony overlooking the lake. The lake view is absolutely worth the extra cost. Our only issue was that the balcony hadn't been cleaned before our arrival, but housekeeping responded quickly after we notified reception. The bed and shower were both excellent. One thing to note: the TV isn't a smart TV, so bring an Amazon Fire Stick or similar device if you plan on streaming before bed.
The outdoor pool, jaccuzis, steam room, and sauna were all enjoyable, although the pool and jaccuzis could have been a bit cleaner. The outdoor bar was a nice addition and served great cocktails. The $10 daily locker rental for the spa area also felt a bit odd considering the nightly rates.
I'd also skip the $45 valet service. You can unload your luggage at the entrance and park for free just across the street—it's less than a one-minute walk.
The highlight of our stay was Le Voilier. The lakeside setting is beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. The salmon was one of the best I've ever had. Definitely make a reservation in advance.
