Great location and great view

very gorgeous and clean, the food could use a bit of work but overall a lovely experience.

Tivemos uma lâmpada da varanda fundida, pedimos para trocar e não havia pessoal da manutenção disponivel, pedimos que para apontar a reclamação e repararem no dia seguinte, mas durante toda a nossa estadia não foi resolvido. De resto tudo foi muito bom!!!

The shower gave me a nightmare because it flooded the entire bedroom and bathroom within 15 min shower. I had to do camping in the living room for 2 nights.

Nice, clean and relatively new apartment with (partial) seaview. We were not too keen on Troia however which is a bit of an artificial destination; good for families with children.

Excelente localização, fácil acesso apesar de fraca sinalização. Faltavam algumas loiças na cozinha, pirex, micro ondas, chávenas de café e copos e um dos estores da sala estava avariado pelo que não foi possível abrir a janela para o alpendre. A piscina não estava aberta! Coisas mínimas dado que o espaço é grande, muito confortável e acolhedor! Excelente o atendimento apesar da fila para o Check-in. Recomendo!

Was in a beautiful area, the apartments were clean and comfortable. The hotel was almost empty though as it is offseason, it would have been a nice gesture to give me a room facing the ocean.

Poor maintenance on the apartments, no safety lock on the front door, 2 meter peace of wood has fallen from the sealing causing a big scare, if my 3 year old was under it, I can't imagine what could have happened, no lock on the balcony door, it was permanently open, allowing all mosquitoes in during the night to come in. After complaining we got changed to another apartment thinking that this time the hotel would have checked carefully the conditions of the new apartment,r but no, the problems persisted, this new apartment had cigarette smell every day when the fumes exhaust from the kitchen automatically turned on, front door also with the safety lock broken, one of the balconies door handle was broken, phone in the room didn't work, kitchen blinds didn't work also, on the last day maintenance fixed most things, except for the front door. Hotel did a 20% discount on our stay.....

Note: This review applies to the off-season; we went on a beautiful, sunny, warm November day. We had a disastrous stop at the Troia Resort. First, this resort encompasses nearly all of the upper part of the peninsula. We spent nearly 2 hours traversing every lane, beach, and sidewalk looking for check-in, as each building was indeed labeled "Tróia Residence - Apartamentos Turísticos", and each building that looked like a reception area was dark and locked. None of the ~10 people we encountered on the deserted peninsula could help us either. "Where is the Troia Residence?"--“It's everywhere!” Finally, we wandered into another hotel, the Aqualuz to see if they could help us find the reception of the Apartment Turisticos, and found that the Aqualuz actually WAS the proper place to check-in during the offseason. This information in advance would have save us the two hours of wandering of our only afternoon there! Then, we discovered that the entire walking-distance part of the peninsula shuts down at 6pm. That is, the single restaurant, cafe, and even grocery store all close, leaving no options for dinner. Realizing we would be trapped without food until morning, we packed up and simply abandoned our room, and took the ferry back that evening. I will note that the beach is truly beautiful, and the "island" atmosphere must be quite different during high-season, in which I'm sure the restaurants and cafes remain open.

Fantastic, apartments right on the beach, modern and clean as new. All the amenities, perfect for the kids, we could eat at home or walk to the restaurants, pool or beach. Not a hotel though so housekeeping every other day and no breakfast. We wish we had stayed longer.

The worst ever experience in my 30 years of traveling. Enough said! €215 per night for that service??? Are you kidding me?

The hotel is 4 star but the check in room was more 2 star: hard to find, very small and under staffed. However, the staff was very friendly. Typical of most 3 star hotels in Portugal the bed was extremely hard. We have purchased 4 very comfortable, reasonably priced beds from Ikea.

Gostei muito do apartamento, proporcionou-nos bastante conforte, todavia as camas dos meninos ao que parece não foram mudados os lençóis.

Das Apartment war sehr groß, sauber und komplett eingerichtet. Alles hat funktioniert und es befindet sich direkt am Strand. Auch direkt zu Fuß erreichbar sind das Casino, verschiedene Restaurants und kleinere Läden sowie ein Supermarkt. Die Preise im Supermarkt sind teils höher als normal aber gerechtfertigt, wenn man bedenkt, dass die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten weit entfernt sind. Insgesamt fanden wir den Aufenthalt (außerhalb der Saison mit wenig Gästen) sehr angenehm. Der Strand ist sehr schön, besonders bei Ebbe mit den dann zu sehenden Sandbänken. Negativ an der Umgebung sind die Industrie und der große Hafen samt vorbeifahrender Frachtschiffe, sowie die kontinuierliche Bebauung der Halbinsel.

Hotel a precisar de uma renovação, serviço de receção é feito em outro hotel distante, no momento do check in os cartões dos quartos não estavam bem codificados tivemos que substituir, os apartamentos tem duas tv mas nenhuma funcionava, não tem uma garrafa de agua, chinelos ou um robe, a pior parte foi querer tomar um banho de agua quente e não poder. De longe algum dia pode valer o dinheiro.

A nossa estadia foi maravilhosa lugar lindo super romântico para uma viagem de casal
